This was awesome, Netherlands here, watched f1 since 1994. And got into Nascar and Indycar a couple of years ago. One of the positives of social media is the mutual respect and praise different kinds of motorsports get. The Nascar ride was a crowd favorite at Le Mans and pretty much everybody including americans rooted for Svg last week. Love the positivity ive seen lately, i know how snobbish f1 fans can be.

@@mtl-ss1538Sorry....... not even 20 Indy Car titles = just 1 F1 race podium. Bruce McLaren was probably your most talented driver and along with Denny Hulme, your most successful...... although top level rally car drivers probably should rank alongside F1 drivers. I prefer sedan racing like V8 Supercars and NASCAR on road courses....... but F1 is clearly the ultimate in Motorsport. Is just a pity that money overrules talent. lol

Funny as commentary guys. We are big Shane V G fans here in New Zealand. But it all played into his hands really. Better tyres, wet track ( he is a drifting expert as a hobby) and half the races in Australia are street races. Check out some Super Cars at Surfers Paradise. Scary.

The biggest embarrassment of this race wasn't SVG winning, it wasn't getting the race cut down by a quarter, it wasn't the stackup. All that stuff happens in other racing series for similiar reasons. Gragson going into the same wall four times is sorta there. But the biggest embarrassment is that the only driver that put any serious fight against SVG was a god danm fucking Kaulig car.
@ihateusernamesgrrr3 ай бұрын
No the biggest embarrassment was the terrible Nascar commentators. This videos commentary was really good but the official commentary was dogshit. This was my thought throughout the entire race, but then that opinion was solidified when SVG was ripping through the pack from 18th and wasn't mentioned till he hit top 3 or 4. V8 supercar commentators are very good at watching the entire lineup, and when somebody is making moves it gets not only the commentators attention but follow up replays. I would expect that the 2nd biggest racing organization on the planet would have commentators smart enough to put eyes on the fastest car on the track. The commentators for Nascar are so subpar when you put them up against any other major racing event. And the long moments of dead air during the race was not acceptable at all.
