I work for the leasing division of the largest of the rental car companies. The company claims to have 1.7 million cars worldwide, and that is probably accurate. Mini vans are the most popular family type ride for folks not wanting to pay for a Suburban or Expedition. The Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager are 75% of the airport rental fleet. The second most common is the Toyota Sienna. I deliver cars to their new owners and my team easily covers 350 miles a day. We use the Pacifica and prefer them. We'll fire them up at 7:00 am and for the new 7-9 hours that car is subjected to the harshest punishment with speeds at 85 to 95 mph. all day long. Overall the Pacifica is an excellent car.

There is a button at the bottom of the B pillars to automatically move the two front seats out of the way to use the stow and go. The buttons also move the seats back to their original position once you are finished and hit them again. Nice van!

The Pacifica handles very well in gusty winds at highway speeds thanks to its aerodynamic design. Give it a try in your next review. Very important safety factor for a family vehicle.

We rented a Pacifica twice for our trip to NC and the ride is amazing. Wasn’t considering a van again being kids are young adults now…but it’s a classy ride for sure. Def considering as a new vehicle.

Coming from a MB Sprinter, the reasons why I am looking at the Pacifica are a more car-like handling and comfort, better gas mileage, and the interior's flexibility to accommodate passengers, gear (bikes, boards, camping equipment, dog kennel, etc.), and car/stealth camping capabilities. I had a top trim level 2017 Pacifica I leased and loved it! Back then you could get the built-in vacuum (the unit was on the left when you pen the rear hatch). And I loved the 2nd row seats that folded into the floor, and you could use those wells as extra hidden storage. I was able to easily fit full sheets of plywood when all the seats were folded, no problem, wheel in bikes and so on. The one flaw (and still is) is that there should be a removable 2nd row center console with storage, drink holders and/or as a middle seat. I will say though it is time for a major redesign as this is now going on 6 years with only small changes. Even the instrument panel and center info screen is exactly the same.

Hope they have better transmissions than the Dodge Grand Caravan 2011-2015. Twice had to get mine replaced. Very costly too.

You missed the button that automatically moves the front seat forward and back so that you can stow the middle seats. Great function.

It is on the driver side door inside of the door bin. This is located just under the panel of switches on the armrest.

Our 23 wheel bearing failed , fixed under warranty which is great, but if the salesperson would pointed out no spare, I wouldn’t have bought it. Hey Chrysler that’s crappy of you.! The vans great though.

I bought a 2021 Pacifica Touring L with whatever package, and mine has a screen on the back of each of the front seats which can play a DVD/Blueray from the front or anything plugged into the USB ports next to the screens. I'm sure that's also the case with the 2023, except his model didn't have the screens (or the front passenger power seat, which mine has).

It looks like they're doing away with spare tires. To my shock and dismay, my 2021 Pacifica Touring L came without one! It would go on the left behind the rear seats, and it looks like has 2023 version has two shelves there. Mine came with a vacuum in place of the spare, which disturbed me until I realized that I hadn't used a spare tire in 20 years, but I've used that vacuum at least 30 times per year! His model is fairly basic (no screens on the backs of the front seats, manual front passenger seat, etc.). Mine, 2 years older, has the vacuum and fancy touches like automatic parallel parking, nanny cam (a huge, color view of everyone in the back, and touching a passenger zooms in on that person). It's also fun to pop open the sliding doors from a distance so the kids can pile in before you even get close enough to touch the vehicle!

I've been driving one of these at work for 2 weeks. It is unbelievably unintuitive. Whoever designed this thing was an idiot. 1. The high beams accidentally trigger ALL THE TIME when using wipers AND the high beam indicator is THE SAME COLOR as the dashboard lights so you have no idea that they are on. I have been "flashed" more times in the last week than during my entire life. 2. Button to close the back (took me 3 days to find) 3. How to open the fuel door (I had to Google it) 4. Parking Brake (is a button ??? I couldn't reverse the vehicle for 5 minutes - had no idea what was happening) If you purchased this nightmare vehicle, return it right away! This thing sucks!!!!

This is the gasoline-powered version of the Pacifica, and you're comparing it with the hybrid Sienna. The hybrid Pacifica has the same mpg as the Sienna.

In Jan of 2022 I searched for a new 7-passenger vehicle with sliding doors and AWD. Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Pacifica are the only vehicles with those. I first drove the Toyota - I've always liked Toyotas - but the Sienna was an under-powered, bouncy, sardine can to drive. The high-end Sienna with all of the fancy touches felt like driving a stripped-down work truck. Then I drove the Pacifica - what a powerful, comfortable pleasure that was to drive! So I bought one (I said I didn't care about color, which got me a new Pacifica within a week, but I ended up with one the color of wet concrete - oh well). But I have loved everything else about it for close to 2 years. The kids love the 2 screens in the back, I fold and unfold a 2nd-row seat at least once per week, I've enjoyed several trips across the Colorado mountains with it, the AWD grips snowy roads very well, and even my sports-car-loving son-in-law agrees that the Pacifica is a great vehicle that's as flexible as a Swiss Army Knife!

I have this as a work vehicle that I did not buy. The dial transmission is trash. It sometimes will not go into park while on a hill and just rolls. You can't open the door while you back up, it engages the parking brake and goes into park if you do. The radio works sometimes and is hard to use. It sometimes will not turn on and you have to turn the vehicle off and on to try to get it to work. I can't stand this vehicle. Buy a Honda, or Toyota van. This is junk
