Honestly it has to much technology. Give me a base model with some of the exterior off road protections and than perfect. Also get rid of the turbo and drop the v8 in it.

Love your videos. I do wish someone could post a Timberline with the 500 package. I just tried to order one and got told the order book is closed. Guess I have to wait for the 2024 model. The 500 package is 9K cheaper and includes many of the features. I also prefer the smaller 12" screen with some analog controls/dials.

Exactly what I did. Ordered a '23 with the 500A package, and added the trailer tow package. That's it. I hate sunroofs, and have no desire for a giant 15" screen with extra electronics, or any of the other "luxury" features the 501A came with. The only extra thing I wanted was the heated steering wheel. But that's only in the 501A, and I'm not paying over $10k (I'm in Canada) for that.

I just thought of a really big con of a touchscreen. As it has been cold out, I've been wearing big bulky gloves, and I don't want to take them off to touch a screen. It takes several minutes for the engine to warm up and heat up the car. I'm glad I have a 96' jeep that has the sliders for temperature and different vents, that work with big winter gloves.

You don’t need gloves in the timberline because it has a heated steering wheel that warms up in seconds.

I’m surprised Ford doesn’t offer the 2.7 EcoBoost as an engine option as well. Either way it’s a cool vehicle

It's unfortunate Ford doesn't do an extended wheel base for this trim level... GM Yukon XL AT4 would have been great if GM hasn't replaced all the 12v outlets with cheap underpowered USB ports. Ford needs to build this in a MAX version with BlueCruise.
