I ordered my lariat with the center console delete... The ultimate had a lot of the safety junk i did NOT want....same goes with the max recline seats. So I compromised with the regular Lariat on my 450 because I "thought" I had to in order to get the big screen and B&O stereo...which was true on the '22...but apparently the '23 you could do an XLT with the stereo/screen. Things standard on the regular Lariat I could do without: Leather....I always install neoprene covers immediately on all my trucks. 360* camera....which is now standard, and I'm actually coming around. Can't stand the auto braking while backing up...I'm certain there's a way to cancel it, have to figure it out. Nothing to do with trim, but i really dont like the E-parking brake. Getting used to the front end....like every styling change in the past on every model, people b1tch and then accept...lol!

It really is all about the trim level. I own a 22 F350 XLT FX4 powerstroke crew cab long bed seats 6 people and no sun roof. Front 5990 rear 7230 GVWR 12400 payload 4178 Plus 48 gallon fuel tank

The rear GAWR is the sum of the max pressure/load on both rear tires. 7230 would have 2 tires with a max of 3615 lbs. 7050 GAWR is 3525 per tire. The lower front GAWR, well not exceeding the tire sidewall, Max pressure and load rating, is limited by the springs. The 5990 front GAWR comes from the spring spec. It’s likely the 5990 trucks either have the camper package, or the snow plow prep package. This increases the front spring rating as you’re seeing. Remember that the CCC, the cargo carrying capacity on the yellow and white sticker, is deduct from curb weight, full fuel and 150 lbs per passenger per seat position. As the long bed has the flip up center seat in the front, it will have a 150 pound less load rating. Also, the long beds have a standard 48 gallon tank. This as an additional 14 gallons of fuel weight that must be deducted, in addition to the extra frame, body, wiring, exhaust, drive, shaft, length, etc. that you mentioned.

Nice! -- QUESTION -- We liked the configutation of this. But could you get the NON Ultimate but spec it with the Heads Up Display without jumping to the ultimate?

Wrong, that car did not have heat in the backseat because of the three passenger bench seat configuration. That’s the only reason. It’s not because it’s not the lariat ultimate package. I have a lariat. It’s because there is no console there.

Incorrect, you do get the heated rear seats if you front bucket seats instead of the bench seat. I have one. When you get the Tremor package in lariat trim there are only a few differences between lariat and lariat ultimate like the HUD and radio speakers, maybe some computer things but not much else. It seems that Ford took the vast majority of the 22 lariat ultimate package and made it standard on the 23 lariat.
