There is no acceleration issues. This truck gets up and moves. More than enough power and torque. I really like my new Canyon AT4 !

Got my Canyon AT4 a month ago. Awesome truck, love it. The headlight switch is not a problem at all. Leave on auto mode and never touch them. Going into panel to turn on fog lights is an issue I feel. Slider should be powered. Also should come with the larger driver screen. It rides and handles great. It’s very comfortable even on a long trip. Took mine on a 2300 mile trip and averaged 22.3 mpg. Good review ! Thanks

If you turn on the fogs, do they come on or stay on every time you start the truck in the dark, like full size? No lights in the bed?

@@greghowland3891No they don’t. You must turn them on every time you start the truck or whenever you want them on. Only used them a few times.

Very premium interior, very nice mid size truck. But this 4 cylinder engine have weird sound dosn't match for this type of vehicle. Great review as always. Greetings

I agree on the power rear window, it should be standard. It also needs Homelink for the garage door and power folding mirrors. That said, I'm probably going to get a 2024 Canyon Denali.

FYI…Spray-In Bedliner is a $475 option. If that one had it & it wasn’t shown on the factory sticker as an option, the dealer must have installed it. Not standard on the AT4, only standard on the Denali. Love my new Canyon! Power sliding rear glass might be nice to have, but realistically, in my truck it will rarely (if ever) be open.

I'd only option it with 20s. The 18s are the same as the Sierra 1500 SLE Wheels.

100% agree on the negative knock for the price they should have a power sliding rear window or at least on the Denali or as part of the technology+ pkg on the AT4. Also it’s bs they didn’t go full LEDs inside and out.

This motor has been used in the 1500 since 2019. Millions of real world miles. Not too concerned about it. Take care of it and it should last. I have never put 200000 on any vehicle, but that’s just me.

Will you keep the truck for 200k? I could see it lasting 200k, but I could also see it not lasting 200k.. I guess it all depends on how you drive and maintain it.. Now, I feel like a Ridgeline or a Tacoma could easily go 200k..

Love my New Canyon Elevation with all options except 4wd and leather seat pkg. The sticker says I still have enhanced off road suspension with the same lift as the 4wd option. I paid 42k out the door with GMS , GM Retiree discount.

I disagree with your comment about the back window needing to be electrically controlled. As many times that I’ve needed to open it manual is fine. However, I would like automatic windshield wipers.

@@703Speed No, but car companies often hold out on features so they can add them in as the model ages, which keeps adding interest from buyers. Toyota did the same thing with the Tacoma sliding window. I'm guessing GM will also add Homelink to these trucks eventually.

Had a 2002 Yukon Denali for 14 years, zero reliability problems, had a 2017 Yukon SLT, was also 100% reliable, towed regularly, you must have had bad luck. Just bought a new Canyon & have no regrets or reservations.

Be glad when you learn to use "an" before a vowel and "a" before a consonant. All too prevalent in younger generation. Nice truck though and good review other than engine performance while driving. No acceleration comments.
