There is a rear view mirror package available to add on. It's an auto dimming rear view mirror with controls to open/close garage door. Great job on the review! Straight to the point and no fluff.

I have a 2017 Honda CR-V EXL which I love. Looking at the 2023 model, I'm not that impressed. As I look at the features, I prefer my 5 year old CR-V over the new model. Honda CR-V's do hold their value, according to Kelly Blue Book, I can sell my 2017 CR-V EXL with 30,000 miles for what I paid for it in 2017. Amazing.

The headroom is reduced. Cargo cover is not standard, Gear shifter is more like old style. I feel a lot of new designs are to reduce manufacture cost.

@@maxtaotao how much headroom do you need? I’m 6 foot 4 and I have plenty of space, and the rav4 I didn’t fit in at all. Last I checked the 2017 model didn’t come with any safety features…who cares about a cargo cover. Throw a blanket over stuff. The 2023 also rides better and is 100 times quieter.

check out the volkswagen tiguan or volkswagen taos - really great value & they drive so amazingly. tiguan is very reliable but taos is a little less reliable. fully loaded tiguan costs the price of a CRV Sport touring and fully loaded taos costs the price of CRV EXL. you get panoramic roof, heated and vented seats, heated steering wheel, fully digital cockpit, better software system, adaptive headlights, beats audio (taos) or fender audio (tiguan), 1.5T engine (taos) or 2.0T engine (tiguan) and they get the same fuel economy as the crv. much much better value, just note that only the tiguan has a power tailgate & it has an optional third row seat.

Can any viewers who have this 23 model comment on how well (or not) the connection is with the "wireless" Android Auto ? Seems I read somewhere (may have been another vehicle) that it wants to lose connection quite often.
