My 2021 Honda CR-V AWD will do it chillin in that trail and snowy ones as well. The CR-V works great in any type of weather here in Ohio. However, is not made for rock climbing or enduro's.

Was that normal mode with traction control on the whole time? Use hill descent at all? Just wondering since off road is never really reviewed. I know they aren't "meant" for off road, but for mild trial driving, they are more than capable...as you show

I tried normal. Sport and eco. Sport is nice for a little more power without having to push the pedal down too far. Eco was too light haha. I should have tested hill descent. Never really had a use for it till yesterday. I often switch to sport on the streets to help pass someone.

Is there a part II to the video? I had just anticipated a lot more in depth commentary on the specifics of each vehicle overall. (Why they chose this specific trail to test certain features etc... How was it performing in real time and why would it respond a certain way based on the environment compared to each other and other models that were exclusively built for off-roading. ) I do mild off roadingin the mountains, and it would've been nice to see a trail that had a bit more rocks to gauge that efficiency.

super comfy ride, handled all hills and dips well. The electric motor is great for torque application and going up a sharp bump in the road. suspension was nice and soft, never bottomed out or anything. at some points i could not see the road ahead due to the angle of the hill, but i never hit the bumper to the ground

Going to get my touring next week. How has the dashcam been for you? I saw the links u posted for the 70mai. I was thinking nexar might be a good option after some research but need to hear your thoughts on the 70mai.

70mai worked well for me when i crashed my other car. So im sticking with it. Got everything on film. Constantly records. No issues with it. Always on when im driving.

Are you planning to get a spare tire if so how or where are you going to place it? The reason i ask is because spare tire is essential for me on long road trips and i really like the CRV hybrid.

CRV is off-road incapable unfortunately. What you guys did is fire road slow driving. It can do some of it because it’s a taller vehicle with some clearance. That’s it. Same with RAV4

@@fakcofee forgot about that! True the CRV reactive system just not good enough. I won’t buy a 4WD because of on road drivability so I decided on a Wilderness that is a real both worlds good commitment.

@@mjdm1925 Yea but if you're looking for / at hybrid off road vids odds are the 21/26 mpg in the wilderness is not what you want lol. They'd probably be better off going with the onyx with the base engine for the 26/33 or the 24 crosstrek with the 2.5L for again 26/33. But im pretty sure the RAV4 is probably the better buy for a hybrid to go slight off road with.

Basically same car. Neither had any issues tackling the hills. Its more design and look that’s different. So choose what fits your style. We get similar MPG etc.

CRV is a quieter more comfortable ride than the Rav4 hybrid but the rav4 hybrid gets slightly better MPG. Both get over 40mpg if you drive conservatively on the streets and highways.

@@DrHondaCRV I thought you said 57k on another video. Yeah that's bad. I'm even upset still with the lack of features and it seems like a lot for this vehicle. Only reason I got it was because of the way this hybrid powertrain functions. And I like the way honda feels. This car is way better than prior gas generation. Never drove last gen hybrid. This being almost 700lb heavier than my 2018 exl you can really feel it. More luxurious and refined ride, but still quite a bit of road noise with bad roads.

Most boring video for offroad. This road I can do it even with my bicycle. Are serious? No hill, no rocks, a steep hill.. nothing. Just a boring plain road filmed from a car side. 👎👎👎
