2023 Honda Grom REVIEW!! (Is it Worth it?)

I have a '23 all black Grom I purchased on March 1st from Homosassa Springs Honda in Florida. I am a big old man (75) at 300lbs and with my weight the Grom will max out at 59MPH. It goes that fast in 4th gear, not 5th. If driven at 29MPH in 3rd gear it gets an incredible 154.1 MPG. I have two other Honda motorcycles; a 2010 VFR 1200F and a 2014 CB1100 if I want to go faster. I have ridden since I was 16 years old. The Grom is very maneuverable and everything for what it is has been done RIGHT. I just had double by-pass open heart surgery and managed to really tick-off my heart surgeon by riding my Grom to the 5 week post op. He saw my helmet and said "You got to be kidding, right" No, I rode my bike!

Just picked up a 23 SP and man im so happy with it! The reason for making the comment is, the Rancher story! I grew up on a 03 and still have it, long story short, I too beat the ever lovin shit out of it and its still kickin.

I'm an older dude, have owned 27 motorcycles including multiple 1000, 1200, 1300 sport bikes, ridden a dozen trackdays, Toured coast-to-coast across the US three times, ridden in 13 countries. YET- I am experiencing GROM FEVER! After I finish the resto on a 1974 XR75 it should easily provide me enough $ for a shiny new Grom. But I'm a big (fat) boy these days... just want it for Blatting around town.. WILL I GET BORED in a week? Or, will I adore the Minibike handling and Goofiness and sink Mod money into it? I'm told that the Grom has like, NO TORQUE, but that you can totally THRASH it. Sounds fun!

most people do get bored but thats usually those who buy it expecting 600cc Power😂 as long as you know what it is and expect it to be a Grom then you shouldnt have any problem with getting bored😂

Just checked out a black grom next to a black CB300. The CB seems like the better deal cause it’s like a Grom all grown up. Am I wrong?

It is. There both great in there own way. Like I said the grom isn’t for everyone it just depends on if that’s what you want
