Does anyone know how to fix FBA variation issue? (FBA parent/child looks out of stock/inactive). They were initially a separate FBA products, I have managed to merged them as Parent/Child by copying one fba listing and just adding variations to that “copy listing”. Some of my products worked with this method to create parent/child. Some of them didn’t work(parent/child is there, but says out of stock). I will appreciate if anyone can suggest a solution! Main questions: how does Amazon select parent vs child images in listings. How can you control which images appear for parent/child products. Where to add/edit images for parent/child listings. Should you add ambient images to all child listings or just the parent?

Awesome content, thank you. FYI... for those who are having issues with their Product ID, if it gives you an error code and you purchased GTIN Numbers from the UK like i did, use EAN option as I kept on getting error messages when choosing GTIN option from the drop down list.

No, those are all dependent of the category. If you do "ColorName" or any other "Name" you can name it anything. Might be your best option or try changing your category.

Thank you! Not sure at what part you are getting stuck at or what you have tried. Would try editing the parent listing in the variation section. Using the theme of color or colorname. If having more advanced issues would make a case to see if can get you some direction!

Are you suppose to use a product ID for parent listing? I did that and my model variations were all the same. When I left that part blank I was able to get the different models to show up on the listing. I also watched a video from AMZ seller that said to leave it blank because the parent listing is not for sale.

Hi I thought I would take the time to reply to you but I assume you may have passed the need for the information. The parent listing is just a fake listing that binds the children to the page. You will not need a UPC for the parent as the parent is not being sold, the children (the actual products) are being sold. Hope you have had much success in your amazon journey

Hello! Thanks a lot for your tutorial, it's very useful. So I created my products with one variant (the size) as you explained, and I have now multiple parent products under which child products. All my qty = 0 because I want to be FBA. My question is how can I visualize/preview my listing before actually having a quantity available? Now, when I click on the parent product url, I'm viewing the listing on AMAZON but I'm seeing the listing of one particular size instead of a listing with multiple sizes?
