Luca very good video I wanted to ask that if I create 3 child listings with different descriptions and combine them with a parent listing will all child listings have different descriptions that I entered before or it will have the description of the parent listing.

So it can be a bit glitchy! Sometimes the listing copy will stay different for each child listing, however sometimes the parent listing will override it and the child listings will all have the same copy as the parent listing. If this happens, annoyingly you just have to go back into each child listing and update them one by one.

Hey Michael, yep you will still be able to edit your child listings as normal once you've connected them via a parent listing.

How do I do it in a way where my default listing is 16oz and 8 oz is variation inside in case some one wants to buy smaller package. Currently, 8 oz became default one. Any thoughts?

Hey, glad you found the video helpful! So there isn’t a ‘default child listing’ they are all equal, however only one will ever show up in the search results. The one that shows up will be the best seller for that specific keyword searched by the customer. For some keywords the 16oz might be the one that shows up, for other the 8oz one will show up. There’s no way to control which one shows up unfortunately. If you want both to show up in search results you will need to keep them as separate stand alone listing and rank them both for your target keywords

Hello. Thanks. So I tried to create variable listings last night. The page where you add a product looks different from yours. I'm having 2 issues: First I just purchased 10 UPC codes from GS1 and my product listings are not accepting them. I'm getting the following message: "There is no record of the SKU corresponding to this update on your account. This commonly occurs when there are other issues on your SKU.. SKU AKR-SKU-02 does not match any ASIN and contains invalid values for attributes required for creation of a new ASIN. New ASIN creation requires the following attributes, for which this SKU provided invalid attribute value(s): standard_product_id." Like I have no idea why it's doing this. I purchased my ten codes and used 5 of them. All 5 drafted listings has this message. 2. When I try to create a parent page, since it looks different from your version, I have to fill out more details. It won't let me leave it blank. So it throws me off from your tutorial. This is all new to me. I have a product that's ready to go and I'm stuck on this. My manufacture is waiting for me to get the fnsku. I called and spoke to an agent. My issue is being escalated and I have to submit documents and screenshots. This is getting frustrating. I hope you can provide some additional knowledge.

Hey! It doesn't matter what images you add to the parent listing as the parent listing is not visible to the customer. You can just add a single image if you want.

I have just had 5 ‘lifestyle’ images and 1 infographic image done which apply for every individual letter (or ASIN). So do I load all the same ‘lifestyle’ images for each child variation?

Yep, that's right! Each should have their own main image, however you can have the same lifestyle and infographic images uploaded to all child variation.

Hey! Yep that’s right for the title you can just use the part they all have in common. Then for product ID, leave it blank then move to the variations tab. Once you start adding variations to the parent listing, the product ID section will disappear

If I plan on adding variations to my product but not straight away, should I still add the variations when creating my initial listing? To explain a bit further, I am nearly ready to list my homemade beard oil (cedarwood & Grapefruit scent). I have plans to list scent variations in the future but holding off for now until I see how well the first product sells. Should I still add these variations now (would this mean customers see the variations even though they can't buy) or, can I add the variations to the original product at a later date? Thanks

So you can either create a single stand alone child listing and then in the future create additional stand alone child listings + link them together with a parent listing. Or alternatively you could create a parent listing just with a single child listing for now and then simply add additional child listings in the future. A standalone listing and a parent listing with one child will look exactly the same to the customer

Could you add to your video the final screenshot of your AMZ inventory, please? Because I have three lines for each product separately (status "Active") and one line with the status "Variations(3)". Slightly different! What you can do with branded items that already have listing is start off by going onto the Amazon listing for that product and then clicking the 'have one to sell' button under the buy box on the right hand side of the listing.

Good question! What you would want to do is create a second individual child listing for the oval table, then a third new parent listing to link you two child listings together: Rectangle table (child listing 1) + Oval Table (child listing 2). They will then share reviews and ranking, however bear in mind that only one will every show up in search results at a time once they are linked.

Hey, that's strange! In that case you should just be able to set the quantity to 1 or 0 and then it should revert back to 0 once it recognises its an FBA listing.

Yes, he accomplished it in such a simple manner, but I had many issues as a beginning. Goods reviews and optimizations are crucial for selling your product on Amazon FBA, and I couldn't handle them properly until a colleague offered the Panda Boom tool, which is an excellent program that helped me overcome my challenges.
