Great Great review. I recently purchased a Palisades on 12/23 was in a head-on collision @ 50 MPH on 1/1. The car saved my life for sure. Car was totaled so we replaced it immediatly with a Santa Fe. This review helped me understand my new baby. Love how you call the Santa Fe baby Palisades. Again great review!

Took SF Calligraphy on a 5600 mile trip in May. Exceeded 32 MPG twice in 150 mile intervals on the open road. HIGH TECH--- Drove 100s of miles with no hands & no feet. "Normal" traffic MPG is in the 20's. Our 4th (and best) SF.

we have a 2021 Calligraphy and the transmission with very glitchy epseicallt at low speeds until we just got the recall done and now drives like a new car, butter smooth! love it

I just sold my 2012 FX35 which I loved (got it after a G37x when I wanted more space) - was pretty much 95% set on getting an AWD Stinger bc I miss a car... but drove one of these today and now i'm torn. I've driven past gen SantaFe's and they always felt more minivan-like to me - but this one hustled and handled pretty well. Ahhhh decisions.

I just heard that hyundai is having a BIG recall on vehicles with the wet dct transmission and it's are 56,000 2022 & 2023 vehicles, but love both of our hyundais.

We've got the 22' Calligraphy in Calypso red and we FREAKIN' love it! Very quiet, fast, comfortable with tech up the wazoo. Extremely enjoyable driver with a FANTASTIC sound system but you can FLY through a tank of gas 'cause of that Turbo charger on the 4 cylinder......too tempting to punch it! The blind spot turn signal is also incredibly confidence inspiring on the road. We're extremely happy with it as it's our 3rd Hyundai since 2013.

Really nice 2.5T engine and 8 spd wet DCT. Too bad Hyundai forgot to put it in the Tucson.

I have the '22 Calypso Red Calligraphy (and I absolutely love it 💜) but I don't really notice any differences between it and the 2023...is there anything different in the newer version?

THE AWD Lock is like a diff lock it tells the computer to send 50-50 power to all wheels at all ties Regardless of tractor attraction

In Australia, I have the fully loaded 2022 Highlander, same colour interior and black exterior. It’s also a 7 seater and has an awesome heads up display. It comes with the 2.2 litre Turbo Diesel. Better economy and super reactive. The 2.5 is in the lower level vehicles or the hybrid.

Like santa fe quality of materials better. It is more traditional with less shiny black accents. Sorrento comes with 3 row too.

Do the higher trims come with parallel parking assist?

I have the 2022 Calligraphy and sadly, it does not have parallel parking assist, however it does have a parking assist feature that will move the vehicle forward or backwards...if someone has parked too close to you in a parking lot you can remote start the vehicle and it will move up or back so that you can get in it.

@@geminichick61 Thanks for the information. I personally think parallel parking assist is more beneficial than the forward/back feature they have. i feel you would in general use parallel parking assist more than the forward/back feature.

Get mine in the UK beginning of march next year our new '23' plate had to order a year in advance due to the global chip problem. Top spec here is the ultimate model and ours is a standard 7 seater. Oh and we call it hyundai as in high un dee. Why do you call it hunday as it clearly has a high in the name as such but I guess its the accent. Mines typhoon silver which is what our silver is called here. Hybrid model with luxury pack 2wd.sod 4wd too expensive and totally pointless
