2023 Hyundai Tucson GLS Diesel Walk Around -A better alternative to the Fortuner G?

It really depends on your needs (or wants). The Tucson Diesel may not have ADAS, but it's a beast when it comes to performance. Its CRDI engine, which produces 184 hp and 416 Nm of torque, just blows its competition out of the water. The Honda CRV, another diesel crossover, may have Honda sensing, but in terms of performance, it will be left in the dust by the Tucson. The CRV is also more expensive, currently priced at 1.993M for its S Variant, vs. the Tucson diesel which costs 1.84M. Add to that the 5-year warranty of Hyundai, the Tucson is actually a great choice for a crossover diesel. If I were to choose, I'd rather have the one with better performance vs. the one with ADAS. Besides, I'd probably just turn those things off if my car had one and still rely on my own driving skills. The more tech the car has, the more things to worry about of breaking down. And to be honest, the Tucson diesel has more than enough tech for my liking (e.g. gear shifter buttons, wireless charging, remote start, etc...)

Watch Honda City Gas vs Diesel vs Hybrid na ginawa sa India bago ka magsalita. Mag research ka muna para makita mo sa real world kung gaano kalamang diesel laban sa gas at hybrid. Hybrid is so overrated nowadays. 🙄

7:11 Park Distance Warning? Really Hyundai? You could have just installed a 360° camera system instead so that very little is left to the imagination concerning how near or far you are from nearby structures that could damage your shiny 1.8M diesel. You instead went for an outdated tech called park distance warning thingamajig where you still have to imagine how far away you are to something as opposed to just looking at a top (and reverse) view of how near or far you are from something. Vehicles less than 1.8M from Chinese players are doing it and here you are playing 2nd class citizen. This is new management?

How fu#@%&* expensive can it be to include one on their top of the line model? Veloz, and it ain't no Chinese, has it at less than 1.1M. Same deal with the midvariant of the Almera. Typical Hyundai with its sparse tech. Still an improvement over the plastic trash before but its still not up to the current competition. Diesel is also no longer a major + with current prices and hybrids competing with efficiency.

Try not to include own descretions when reviewing. Like transmission gear shifter to button issue. Just try to elaborate its features and dont skip because you are not fan of it. Stay with the car and not with your own options.
