The new 2023 Hyundai Verna appears to be slightly bigger than the outgoing model, and it also features a fresh design language.
New Gen Verna 2023 will only be available with gasoline-powered engines. 1.5 litre turbo gasoline and 1.5 litre MPi. The turbo variant will provide 160 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, making it the segment’s most potent vehicle. It will be coupled with either 6 MT or 7 DCT. The 1.5L naturally aspirated gasoline engine produces 113 horsepower and 144 Newton-meters of torque. It will be paired with either a 6MT or an IVT transmission. All of these powertrains are RDE-compliant, environmentally friendly engines that are also compatible with E20 gasoline.

First of all appreciating Hyundai for understanding the market by bringing the powerful 1.5 litre Turbo petrol by replacing the old 1 litre turbo. It's a well loaded car from any aspects 4 wheel disc brakes, new infotainment system , more leg space at rear, large boot space and overall looks are a bit polarizing . Overall a good sedan . . . But if am looking for a c segment sedan my clear cut choice is Volkswagen Virtus 1.5 DSG😅

Basically I hate the sharp edge modern cuts and more lines ... That is the reason from Amaze ... Honda is not made good design.... Diesel engines are now being wiped out from passenger car segment, very disappointing, I prefer diesel engines for its torque, efficiency driveability ,which no petrols can give, the minister nithin gadgari sir wanted manufacturers to stop production of diesel engines graduallly, very regrettable. I m having a diesel car, i m enjoying every moment i drive it ,because in the future there will be no diesels.

I'm sad, and it feels terrible !! Why they have spoilt the front.. it looks so yuck 🤮 just like a fish's face ! The current generation Verna's front look so good !!! And see the international version if 2023 Verna .. they have so much better better looking front.. [why India only gets the worst looking model as compared to international version always ???? The steering is so bad .. even the current i20 has a spectacular butterfly 🦋 like steering..! This is terrible !!! 😭 Even in the current verna.. 6" foot people can't sit in the back [the i10 and i20 have more head room] than Verna ! I had high hopes, but they killed this car Too much design incorporated ! It's neither fluidic nor muscular, they have mixed both n made it look terrible from all sides 😮‍💨 Front-looks like a fish 🐟 Sides-look neither fluidic nor muscular Back-looks like someone chopped off Also the instrument cluster of the i20 is so wonderful ❤️ .. but Verna has the one like Venue [it's a BIG downgrade!!] Very poorly placed car !!! .. It's ugly ! It doesn't follow any particular standard (front,back, sides) all are different in styling and its odd! Look at the Sonata -> it's so well proportioned and is fluidic.. the earlier verna was fluidic! But this looks bad ! Front-like a fish Back-like someone chopped off Cont.. Sides-kind of Urus at the tail end and side front end is like a toy car. Don't know who designed it! Looks like 3 people designed each part [front back side] 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Very bad it is 😭
