I have the 2024 4xe Willy’s and just love it we have around 10,000 miles on it now and since we live in the cascade mountains the 4x4 gets used constantly and no issues with plenty of power to pull my 4x10 trailer loaded with fire wood through the deep snow .

Issue with that generator alternator is that it's also the starter to get engine started. Wish it was a better mechanical connection.

Great review! I'm a new Wrangler owner and I'm near you! (St. Catharines) Traded in my Cherokee Trailhawk (great suv!) for a Willys 4xE a couple weeks ago. Can't wait for snow! (although we don't get even a fraction of what you guys do)

Question : what is the proper name of the Wrangler style for when we're ordering aftermarket parts? My VIN came up one place as an Unlimited 4xE, another as a Sport 4xE (which it's not as it has power and heated everything). My dealership when I asked said Sport Unlimited, but that can't be right..
@doublejslist Жыл бұрын
So the way that I understand it, is that in the non-4xe Wrangler, the Willys trim is a sport with the off-road goodies and appearance stuff. Since it’s the lowest you can go on a 4xe, I’d assume a sport is what you’d go with as a lot of what makes a sport a sport is on the Willys, such as the small touch screen.

Awesome review! I'm looking into leasing the Sport S 4xe as well but may actually look closer to the Willys. It's only $45/mo more but without the Safety group included.

For 24, Willys got better and bigger tires and I think a locker.

Great Review!!! I'm not too far from you (I'm in Lancaster) and am looking into leasing a new 2024 Wrangler. I feel like the Willys trim gives you the best bang for your buck, but I'm not a fan of the black plastic fender flares and would prefer body colored (and from what I can tell, that's not an option with the Willys trim). Just so you know, I'd be stepping out of my fully loaded Cherokee if I decide to get the Wrangler, and I'm also trying to wrap my head around giving up all the amenities that are standard on the Cherokee, and I don't even see that a lot of that stuff is standard on a Sahara. Decisions, decisions!
@doublejslist Жыл бұрын
I prefer the black fenders! Realistically, I probably should have gotten a Sahara as I don’t really off-road much, but the Willys looks so cool to me. If you are coming from a Cherokee, you might want to consider a Grand Cherokee 4xe. They are similar in price to the Wrangler 4xe, and are extremely nice. Just not as cool as a Wrangler.

@@doublejslist I'm thinking that it's definitely going to be a Wrangler. I saw a Hydro Blue Willys the other day and it was love at first sight, where the Grand Cherokee doesn't really appeal much to me. Who knows... The black fenders might even grow on me. I'll be sure to give you a wave if our paths should cross. ✌😎

Thanks for the review interested in leasing one. But still can’t get into the price range we are looking for out here in AZ. What we are worried about is out here it gets to be 120 degrees and driving on pure battery with AC blowing I wonder how long the range will last and lifetime of the battery(battery cost around 4-10k was told) That’s the reason why we wanna lease vs buy.

Leasing plug-in hybrids and EVs is where it’s at right now. The tech is moving really fast.

I just looked into leasing one of these and the dealer I spoke with mentioned that a stipulation of the Stellantis lease was that you couldn’t buy it out in the end of the lease, and it had to go back to the dealer. They said something about because they were using the $7,500 tax credit to lower the cap cost. Was curious if this was how your lease was arranged or if I was just fed a line of bull.

I leased mine at the end of March this year and was given a buyout figure on the contract. Either something has changed, or it’s shenanigans.

@@doublejslist my guess is a dishonest dealer! Thanks for the reply!

It all depends which bank they are financing the lease through. Chrysler capital and US Bank will allow for buyouts ( at least for now), but Ally bank does not allow for them. Most likely that dealer was running the numbers through ally. I did hear however that eventually they will all be preventing early buyouts so Jeep can inspect the batteries on the vehicles
@KevinExclamationPoint Жыл бұрын
@@richardloricco I think they said it was a Stellantis lease. They did give me separate numbers for US Bank but those were higher.

May I also add I don’t like the hybrid mode it sucks the batteries down way to quick so we run in e save or electric to keep the charge while freeway driving so when we exit the freeway we go straight into electric
