That 7 speed DCT is troublesome. I had my car with that trans in it towed at ~3000 miles; would not go in Reverse and Check Engine light came on. Parts in the transmission needed to be swapped. I ended up selling it 'cause I did not have peace of mind (it could happen out of warranty!). A real shame because that 1.6 Turbo engine had all the potential in the world! Now I own a '22 BMW X3 xDrive 30i with one of the best auto transmissions: the ZF 8 speed.

Dct is great for fuel economy/ sporty driving, but I will avoid any vehicle with them for reliability reasons.

Weird I just took a look at that one at a kia dealership today and the interior is a lot different than that one you're showing. It doesn't have that gauge cluster style instead it is just one big long digital screen across. That must be the old style.

Hopefully the 2024 model with the 8 speed automatic gets better fuel economy without sacrificing acceleration.

Ben Kia is a solid manufacturer my family member has a Kia spectra and it has been very reliable and has a lots of power from a 4 cylinder engine

I wouldn't want to drive a kia even if someone gave me one for free. It is still one of the most unreliable vehicles out there. No bells and whistles can change my mind about kia. Also, their new kia logo looks like a russian writing. Very tacky too!
