Im in the mid atlantic region and we get a lot of leaves but we also have rut season. Thats when the deer are mating and they are out searching and many get hit by cars. But you have to be on the lookout if your on a bike.

I have had to many close calls to count when it comes to deer and wildlife in general, it really makes you slow down and just enjoy a nice slow low key ride, ride safe friend 🤗

The season is coming to a close here in the north central part of the states. Deer are definitely an issue in the fall which you have to be on the lookout for or really bad things can happen. Ride safe and enjoy that mild climate you have out West. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Great video. I'm also 54 and not close to turning in my man card. I also have decreased my 360 days a year rides to 180 perhaps. But still going strong. I sold my 390 for a 790 adventure simply coz the 390 seat must be the hardest bike seat I ever sat on (despite having used the KTM Powerparts comfort seat. And I hate the skimpy egzhaust sound and insufficient power.. So I traded it in for a 790 Adventure which I'm really proud about. Its more powerful, more comfortable, much more stable, and got many more gadgets to save your life if you buy the Tech Pack. I'm not saying I'll ride till I die, but I want to continue at least until I become 65 at which time I might still not quit alltogether but buy a scooter instead which I'll end up riding 12 days a year. Biking will always be the love of my life. You can stick to the big highways in winter to give you a safer bet.

Don't buy a scooter.Not if you are in the UK. None of them have a decent ride quality. With our poorly maintained roads it will cane your arse and hands. Well, when I say none, I mean the XMAX 300 that I have! Think the new 450 Himalayan may suit me. 200mm suspension travel that may be just right and 70mhp (true) cruising speed

How did you deal with the red loctite removal of bolts and the female threads for the new bolts? For the top rack install.
@thebelligerentmechanic8916 Жыл бұрын
the loctite damaged the threads when i removed the handles. The rack came with new bolts. I had to carefully tap the holes then make sure i could thread the new bolts all the way in by hand before installing the new rack. Nearly every bolt on this bike is loctited so i've had to replace several bolts :(

What rear rack is that, tried to read the label but couldn't make it out?

That's a " TUSK" rack by Rocky Mountain ATV.

My rack is SRC Moto. It is very well built and pretty affordable , I've picked the bike up off the ground with this rack. Money well spent and a must for this bike if you ask me.

Thank You! I was looking at the Tusk rack and now I have to choose between the two. I like them both. I have have bought SRC product before when I owned a CRF 250L.@@thebelligerentmechanic8916
