2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante vs Mercedes-AMG G63 4x4 Squared // $350,000 Boss Battle

The Mercedes-AMG G63 4x4 Squared ($367,995 as spec'd in the US) and the 2023 Lamborghini Urus Performante ($319,957 as spec'd in the US) are both upgraded, more specific goal-focused versions of themselves. The Urus Performante sees some serious suspension upgrades, a small power jump, and weight savings over the base Urus to help improve its ability on the track. Meanwhile the G63 4x4 Squared has been given the hardcore off-roader treatment with bigger tires, portal axles, loads of clearance and helpful gadgets like a roof-mounted light bar to help it conquer any terrain.
Surely these two vehicles are only used for their serious performance-focused purposes, and definitely not for strolling down the promenade hoping to be seen by the pretty people. I’m a Mercedes tech and we had a 4x4 squared with the same exact spec and color come through the dealer I work at. They’re pretty amazing to see in person, it sold for 440k. Biggest change from the standard G are the portal axles which give it insane ground clearance. It looks 10 feet tall when you’re standing next to it.

Ummm there were brackets k? Actually truthfully we endlessly debated the math. Since it’s a 4x4. We decided the 4x4 needed to stay together so we added brackets. Hence the 256. This is the most I’ve used order of operations in years….

For literally half the price of the Lambo you could have a fully loaded (and I mean including all the unnecessary stuff like leather wrapped seat bases etc) paint to sample Cayenne GTS with a $900 APR tune making 710 hp and 735ft/lbs (63 hp and 108 ft/lbs more than the Lambo). You would have to be obsessed with image to choose the Lambo.
