I just got mine specifically the premium version, I'm not seeing reviewers talk about the "range" mode (gives 30 extra miles) and the impact climate control has on range as well (same as gas depletion). My RZ had 284 miles at 100% with climate control off. Lexus also offers 30 days of loaner vehicles when you need to schedule a road trip which no other manufacturer is doing. I believe Lexus did very well offering a smooth, comfortable, and reliable first EV. They indeed need to work on the range which I hear is in process of being remedied.

@@HawkeyeRidesIt does say "complimentary" on the app I use but who knows since dealerships always find ways to get money out of us. The dealer specifically said RZ owners get 30 days of loaners in a span of 3 years but this could only apply to leases. I'll have to do more research.

Very good review! I purchased the luxury version of this vehicle last week and absolutely love it. When I first heard of the lower range, I dismissed this vehicle thinking I would buy a Tesla, but preferred everything else on this car compared to the Tesla (model Y and 3...the S and X are a different story, but are too expensive for me). When I found out about the free loaner program for three years, that was all I needed to hear. I spend 98% of my time just driving around town and we have a RX350 when needed, so we are covered no matter where we want to go. I find myself thinking of places to go just so I can drive this car.

15 years warranty on batteries, that's a first. Range 320km, oke given the small battery pack. The Bz4x had some softeare updates, range improved to 450km and faster charging. This RZ will have these updates to in near future. That said, I stay with our NX plugin hybrid, always hybrid, and 70km BEV, excellent car, superb fit and finish.
