It's great to see the G3 being extremely bright with the whites. The S90C on the other hand looks really colorful. It's a toss up for me. It's VERY hard to complain about picture quality on either one. It really boils down to price.

I had the g3, and i didn't notice 3d, lol. I mean, i guess it has good contrast with white scenes and something dark in the middle, like tkk said. I didnt have it next to a samsung though i had it next to my lg c8 from 2018 and i will say i didnt notice the g3 looking more or less 3 dimensional hell i didnt really notice any difference accept the g3 was a bit brighter. I think any oled will have great contrast, but if you want 3d, then buy an lg c6. Lol, i still have that tv, and that's really 3d, like where you were, where glasses and things actually jump off the screen. Not where in a certain particular scene something looks as if it's slightly in front of something else, which is what tkk is saying. lol unless his g3 is different, then the g3 i had, i suppose. Bottom line the g3 is brighter then the c2 but other then brightness in certain scenes they are the same tv. If you want lg get the c2 and save 1500 bucks or more. If you want a new oled picture thats something different get any qd oled panel. In my oppinion any qd oled no matter which one beats woled mla or no mla. Good luck

@@120382brian I hate true 3D, and i would never in my life own a 3D tv lol, BUT love the foreground from background serepation. I own a C1, and it does a great job at it if you have the right settings. the G3 has more potential for that same effect that i love so much about my current C1.

It’s more in the processor, similar to Sonys XR doing object based processing, the processor finds item on screen it thinks should be sharper or blurred etc to give that look, LG does darken near black gamma but that’s been since day one.

Right now at Costco the 77” S90C is $2,500. The 77” G3 is $4,200 and doesn’t come with a stand… It’s hard to justify the G3 being $1,700 better IMO.

Well, I had a change of heart about thinking the Samsung S95B represented a better financial buy than the S90C, and bought the latter TV. I've had the 65" model since the 21 April, and am wowed with it. The build quality appears to be on a par with my 55" LG C1. Certainly no bent Panel. In terms of brightness, out of a maximum setting of 50, mine is set to 35 which is more than bright enough for me. The LG G3 may well have a more 3D image than that on the Samsung S90C, but I am more than impressed with the depth, and clarity of image on the S90C

What’s up King, awesome comparison bro, the 3D effect is all done through the processor, Sony started this with the first gen XR chip and kept going, LG brought it in with the C2 and G2 and now they just took it a step further. As usual it’s about fine tuning and LGs engineers really seem to care about the image their tvs put out. Sony is always a little step ahead though BUT they do things their way sort of like Apple, however on my bedroom A80J on your conclusion section, the dimensionally was clear and I have Reality Creation and Peak Luminance off, you yourself was more forward, your gaming chair was a little behind then I could see/feel the background being further back, you really appreciate this especially when you go back to something like the A9G, CX or even the S95B to compare.

For minimal brightness gains, and realistically no one watches side by side like this, I would go for the LG personally because of the quality of the panels, unlike Samsung that is plagued with QC issues, just not worth the anxiety for a little better brightness, but that's me.

It is the camera. Unfortunately there is no cmos sensor (at least in consumer cams) with an dynamic range, that is high enough for this kind of tv comparison. So as a watcher, you have to know how to "read" this video. 😉

Heatsink build and peak output is still enhanced on G over C but the overall new panel technology isn’t there, personally I’d advice the G2.

Question about these Oled tv it seems many people suffer from the random black screens ie sometimes you get a black screen random for 2 sec this happens on RTX 3000 and RTX 4000 series of gpu's do you know a fix for this driver updates dont do anything im wondering i might have a trash HDMI 2.1. Wondering what your thoughts are and if you encountered them what did you do to solve it since you also game via your RTX gpu's on Oled tv's help is much appreciated since this topic is pretty well known.

Agreed. Especially in a bright room as it makes the blacks look deeper. That's what I thought aswell but I thought that the samsung also has a completely glossy panel now.

Honestly i didnt love the g3 when i had it. It crushed alot of shadows detail in darker scenes and it had this green hue that no matter what i did i couldnt seem to get rid of it ecspecially in faces. Also the colors were just dull. Maybe its because i had the s95c first and took it back to get the g3 but i was really disappointed in the g3. I even put it next to my lg c8 and they looked almost identical, i mean sure the g3 was a bit brighter but also the colors actually looked better on the c8. I took back the g3 and got the 77 s95c and am very happy with it. I think that if people get the g3 this year they will come to regret it luckily i took it back to best buy before my return period ended. Hope this helps someone.

i know its qd oled. but colors at the lg g3 are almost the same by the right settings. and over 1000 nits content. that is where qd oled shines. movies etc are not higher then 1000 nits!

Yeah, the 95c is the newest QD OLED panel, all of them are, all 90C are not, so this leads to a better peak potential from photo perspective. S95c is King right now for sure but 90C puts a hurt on a lot of other options.

@@AllAboutTKK Right now I'm in a position selling my LG CX 65" for an upgrade to a 77". I never play games or own one. Have a Sony 4K UHD player with plenty of movies in Dolby Vision. Barely stream either. This is the only reason I never went with Samsung due to their abscent of DV. But now I'm very interested in S95C due to it's good reviews and cheaper price than the G3 here in Europe. I just can't decide. They both have a great design but it's that DV that troubles me... Have a couple months to decide for black Friday

A 4090 can only get to 120hz on the S90C. Which sucks. But on your review, the S90C looks MUCH better. Just because the contrast ratio on the Samsung is so much deeper and looks so much better. The G3 is great. But the Samsung is just a tiny step above the LG.

Ever Since Vincent Teoh, Drop The Bombshell and called QD-OLED, QLED on steroids. further states that the picture ain't Natural. I find it difficult to digest it. Someone is offering me the S95B 55 Inch for $900. I am somehow hesitant to buy in. Because it lacks Dolby Vision gaming. The LG is too expensive in my location. please help I need audience advice.

Dude the s95b is an amazing tv. All you have to do is tweak settings and you can get an accurate picture, it’s really easy. For 900 its a steal. I really don’t think you’re missing much without Dolby vision, at least not yet. QD-OLED provides better color in most use cases. I love my C2 but there’s a noticeable difference to my s95b and A95k. Although I did pay for that difference.

I don’t agree at all if that was actually the context in his message. And keep in mind he speaks as a professional, not a consumer. Knowledge is power but that does not always articulate to normal use case. People don’t go to Vincent for a buyer guide, they go to him to gain scientific knowledge about why one can do different than the other. why are you comparing a mid range with flagship ? We know all S90C is still using the first gen QD OLED screen . You should be comparing it with S95C instead , given how much cheap S90C is from G3 and A90L.
