Good job. It looks good and I am sure it will improve any heat issues! Thanks for the info. God bless.

Herbie, the kids buying these KPM200s need a strong video telling them how to read the various idiot lights as they think everything that lights up is a fault code.

@@recyclebills okay, I’ll work on that, I’m on vacation right now. Thanks

Dear Herbie. I have enjoyed your videos on the KPM 200. I really want to buy one. I hear a lot of negative comments about the bike. I’m not a mechanic. I know you probably have a good relationship with Venom Motors. Basically I’m on the fence. I ask people on Facebook Marketplace why they are selling their’s. No negative replies. The most mileage I have seen for sale had 9 thousand and some change. I’ll write a song about you and your cool videos if can shoot me straight! Thanks in advance! Billy.

@@billywright9486 Hello Billy, I think with most bikes you’ll get all different kind of opinions and reviews mainly because people are people and have different taste. The KPM has been absolutely fantastic for me and I’m not kidding when I say it’s my favorite bike for around town and weekend rides. The FJR is my favorite for long distance travel. I have not had any issues with my Kpm at all and the engine surprised me for a 200cc. It’s definitely not a race bike but a great commuter bike is where it will shine. Reliability has been great so far, I’m about 1200 miles on it now. My KPR that had previous I had about 4500 miles on it when I sold it and didn’t have any issues with it either. The KPR and Kpm share the same engine. For a Efi, liquid cooled, 6 speed and counterbalance engine it’s hard to beat for the price. It’s got a pretty good warranty too but you would have to do the work yourself if needed I would imagine. Good luck with your decision

Thank you for responding. I appreciate it. I really have searched out all the videos and reviews that I could find over the past year. Your videos are the best out there. Now I have to work on that song! Cheers!

Herbie, Nice Wrap job. I couldn't help but notice the rear tire. Is that the stock tread design ? How is the cornering traction ?
@herbiesgarage6812 ай бұрын
Thank you, yes those are the stock tires. Honestly I haven't had any issues with traction in dry or wet pavement, so far so good.

I have not ever done that, i imagine now , at some point, might have to do it just to see LOL. i have an 81 yamaha midnight special 850 on the side of the house. it;s a tipple, i put it there years ago because when i went into the hospital a Rottweiler decided to eat a large part of this and that on it LOL. all my coils and seat and the front tire. one of those things. it would be cool with a wrap though. 1st I gotta get hat Goldwing done! LOL no wrap for that one! LOL have you ever fired up a GL1500 with the mufflers off the pipes? wow! makes me wonder if there is some better than stock ones to run. it;s awesome sounding. but also, really lights up your feet and probably is not good for the motor running open headers like that. just around the block though I HAD TO! LOL
@herbiesgarage6813 ай бұрын
@@RockAnAhardSpot I haven’t personally left the mufflers off and ran it but I’ve heard one without it. It does sound pretty cool, but I’m old so I like it quiet 😂

Do you recommend blipping the throttle when downshifting at somewhat higher speeds on the Kpm. I’m worried about messing up with the rpms and causing the jerking motion.
@herbiesgarage68121 күн бұрын
@@Haven_wayRBLX yes, blipping the throttle when downshifting is a good idea 👍🏻

How much weight does it add to
@herbiesgarage6813 ай бұрын
Oh it’s not much at all, when the water evaporates all your left with is the wrap which doesn’t weigh much at all
