Again, thank you for the review! But are you sure that your db meter is working fine???? I test drove a glc 300e last weak on the highway and while using the db meter on an apple watch ultra I got some very impressive 66db at 145 km/h. Your db values seem a bit too high! What db meter are you using?

we are still working on our db measurement equipment. But also this glc wasnt the quietest. Overall i feel like mercedes just doesnt feel as high quality as they use to anymore. Lots of cost cutting and steep markups in price to make an overall larger profit on each vehicle. You can only tell when you drive many cars back to back tho.For the average consumer they see the mercedes star and think that it is premium. But we can tell that older mercedes products and mercedes competitors like bmw and audi feel and sound more premium especially with these lower end mercedes models a class b class c class GLA GLB GLC and so on.

@@Catchingcars Much appreciate your reply. And it is really not my intention to criticize Mercedes (alongside BMW they are the closes to my heart), but as you say, many of the models from current line-up, simply do not live up to the pointed star attached to them. I had the opportunity to be driven in a W213 twice last november when visiting Stuttgart and....c'mon Mercedes what are those jokes of seats you put inside? That is not a hothatch sporty oriented car. Please bring back the comfy large seats (just for the record I'm 1.80 m tall and 90 kg). And yes, this I can confirm, G30 feels more premium than W213, love the seats in it (only hate the ridiculous fat M steering wheel 😁)

@@Catchingcars Yes and no. There's a huge quality gap between "cheap" MB like C-class/GLC and E-class/GLE, not to mention S-class range. Sometimes it may not be reflected in pricing but as a rule I'd rather take GLE with less HP than GLC with bigger/more expensive engine.

for people that drive slow when cruising for example at 130 kmh the car doesnt need much power and can be almost idle with its rpms due to more gears in the tramsmission. Overall it can also improve acceleration actually because it can stay well within the powerband but yes when trying to reach top speed with little power and heavy weight like this compact suv only about 6 gears would be needed.

😂 Knusprig im Sinne von Hartplastik? 😂 dann ja also alles rund um das infotainment und dieses Klavierlack und fake Carbon etc. war alles hart. Ich muss sagen ich bin richtig enttäuscht von der qualität im innenraum von den kleineren Mercedes Modellen A Klasse B Klasse C Klasse und die jeweiligen SUV's. Mercedes möchte natürlich technik und design verkaufen und solange da ein mercedes stern drauf ist denken viele natürlich es ist premium aber wenn man sich dann in einen 1er oder 3er bmw reinsetzt oder einen a3 oder a4 von audi merkt man einen riesen unterschied was die qualität betrifft. Finde Ihren 2017 von der qualität besser als die neuen.

215 Km/h at 3'500rpm is very impressive for a 2.0 suv. Although performance isn't astonishing, my 180hp evoque feels faster.
