So they released the trailer for "Evil Dead Rise" about an hour before this video was released, and it looks REALLY GOOD. Still bummed it's not a follow-up to the 2013 remake, though...

It is though, 2013 is in the same timeline/universe as the others. Ash is even in it, Ash vs Evil Dead is the direct sequel to that movie, rise is a sequel to that show. The only timeline flip in the evil dead series is 1 and 2. That should be seen as same movie/event.

@@Asfaril I still need to watch the rest of Ash vs Evil Dead. Got through season 2 and lost track of the series (happens to me sometimes). The trailer for Evil Dead Rise definitely looks amazing though. Has Evil Dead 2013 vibes for sure.

I'm so exited for Spider-man: Across the Spider-Verse! The fist one was so good, and i'm hopping this one has the same quality. Also I didn't know there was a Blue Beetle movie coming out, but now that I do, i will be very disappointed if it's cancelled.

I thought it got scrapped.

The only experience I have with D&D realms is through books and video games. I have only truly played homebrew worlds table top wise. Don't know and don't care which realm the movie is in, it looks fun. Any differences in the world if it is from any of the preestablished realms I'll just chalk up to DM rewriting to fit the table that is "playing". Also very looking forward to "Across the Spider-Verse". The HBO acquisition has also been making me feel very exhausted.

My list has all the usual suspects; MCU/Pixar/DC films (Mainly Shazam 2 and Blue Beetle)/Spiderverse 2/Barbie/Mario and Indiana Jones. However, my one that may be different to others is Wonka, the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory prequel. My main reasoning is because of the people working on it. They're the same people who made the Paddington movies, which are some of my favourite films. That alone makes me want to give it the benefit of the doubt. Looking forward to the eventual first trailer :) It's currently set for release on December 15.

Honestly, this Megan film sounded nice. Might look into it. I don't watch q lot of films because the length of films is often misused for my taste (plot either stretched unnecessarily or too much action and plot squished into one film because the format is convenient)

For me the things I'm looking most forward to include the 30th Anniversary Special for Power Rangers, Across the Spiderverse, TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, Megan, Cocaine Bear, Guardians Vol 3, The Flash (please don't judge me), Blue Beetle, and...Barbie, gotta know how it turns out! Honestly D&d, Spiderverse, and Barbie are the only three movies I'm fully hyped for, which I kind of hate? Maybe I'm being a snob, but I'm tired of watching adaptations, remakes, sequels, and reboots. I recently watched The Menu and it was so refreshing to see an original idea. It was also just generally fucking amazing. I fully cackled with manic glee at several points in the runtime.

I dont think spiderverse 2 can e as good, but it proably is still pretty damn good . Yes cocainebear! no the gamers dorkness rising is the dnd movie And nolan is way better with series, like person o interest is a masterpiece about surveilance andlonliness and and even ai and that so good, and it get better. An caviezel may be a garbage human being, but he is an amazing not-batman aand actor , like thats nolan after batman, so ther is the really good. And eason q is slo building till, watch till elias apears. an later it surprisingly, gets queer, rootxshaw . An contaxt harold really did build "the maschine" which i an ai and how that (and surveilance and that) changed th world and cant put b back, as one thing, i think he will do great with oppenheimer, like harold ponders a lot about his creation, should be a good movie with oppenheimer. like the speeches that can be done, the thoughts , knowing he did it alrady well elsewhere, it should be good.
