In my fts. If I screw that so more threads show will I lose ski pressure? I just was looking at Ming I got a pile of threads showing! So I back it off towards the ground would give more ski pressure. I want to turn this year. No push!! Lol
@JESSEJAMES322 Жыл бұрын
yes more preload on that spring will decrease ski pressure. but there are a million other things to do. can you message me on facebook so we can chat more about this?

Excited to race these new sleds this year! I never ran those XPT skis but I'm thinking I might give it a shot. Kind of skeptical though.

What do you guys think about putting those spindles on a Matryx VR1/XCR to get track off ground, I am kinda thinking you've probably talked about this with Bruce.
@JESSEJAMES322 Жыл бұрын
so if you go back to my video from last year i wanted to get a custom set made to do this exact thing. These are 5/8 taller but the snocross sled is 2 inch taller so i will be trying both to see what they do but yes we have talked and will be doing it at some point!

A guy had one of these for sale on Marketplace last year I came close to buying it but changed my mind I would love to ride one suspension seems like it would be perfect for Tug Hill
@JESSEJAMES322 Жыл бұрын
yes these are the perfect tug hill sled. They are a bit stiff (thats tough for me to say) so Bruce makes them a hair softer initially and they're perfect.
@lobbyrobby Жыл бұрын
Here's one for you duct tape special lol. 21 Polaris assault 850 was warrantied for the fuel pump. Stop ride has been fixed but apparently it has fuel pump proplems. That's how I bought it. Previous owner said it would cut out and die occasionally (throttle on in an up slope then would cut out, it would start again no problem) if that makes sense. I've only put about 10 miles on it in 87 octane (didn't realize it was in that mode). I spoke to the previous owner and he said leave it in 87 octane until I get the fuel pump addressed. It's snowing here now so next ride I'm throwing this beast in non-ethanol 91 and letting her eat. Now Polaris wants me to take the snowmobile back to do a pressure test on the pump. Umm it was already warrantied for the issue. Just because it changed ownership doesn't mean Polaris should make me jump through these hoops? Idk.
@JESSEJAMES322 Жыл бұрын
but was the pump fixed or was just the recall done? The recall has nothing to do with the pump itself
@lobbyrobby Жыл бұрын
@@JESSEJAMES322 yes just the recall was done. What I was trying to say is polaris already started a warranty to replace the pump but now needs a pressure test. It's almost like they're trying to get out of covering the warranty now

Do you think you're going to try that 135/185 front track spring in the new VR -1?? I hear through hardcore sledder that front track spring is the 💩!! And they supposedly charge the front shock to 200psi....

we are trying It 100% stock first. then well mess around

Non position sensing IFS shock. More linear/consistent feel thru the stroke is the big thing, with the bridge at the top. Can go softer or stiffer depending on valving. Cool video!
