Drove one of these last week for the first time. Most comfortable vehicle I'v ever driven. Bar none. Very spacious, good feeling leather or leatherette. Handling was really good. And it managed to pull a double decker trailer uphill without a struggle.

Remove question mark from the title ... I drive one just not V8 suddenly but also with that full infoteiment and it is so intuitive I must say not only comforts but whole truck and its functions like differential lock etc everything is in place and you dont have to look for it. I get to drive benz and man as well as older scanias and all of those trucks are good machines and does the job but scania is just one level higher in my opinion.

Great truck a storage space but i have one issue the locker doors would be better if they opened downward catching and item from falling down when opening could save a windscreen from being broken by a can of beens or peas ect other than that a great trucksll round

Hello Could anyone advise me which model has a 6x6 single wheel configuration and would be best for construction site, mining work diff locks all round . Ideally with a crew cab option. It use would be as an expedition truck

I didn't drive a scania for the first few years of my career and therefore didn't really understand the hype. I was content with my volvo. Then I drove a scania SUPER 2016 and holy moly. It's made for drivers. The transmission actually understand your intent when driving, not just over gear changes during hillclimbs, but also just starting on slippery surfaces is made easier. In fact, it can actually drive through snow and ice, compared to european made trucks. the suspension can be altered via buttons next the dash, instead of that flimsy controller next to your seat and it even shows you the height adjustment in mm on the dash. Physical buttons instead of a huge touchscreen, so you don't need to look at what you're messing around with. Shifting pressure from the boggie axle to the driven axle, for more grip. There's always a way to override things, so the truck will never tell you no, it does what you tell it to do. I'm the driver and it listens to my command, compared to the other trucks. It's also made of metal, compared to Mercedes and co, that'll break apart as soon as you sneeze on it. Oh and it has MIRRORS, no cameras that will eventually fail and leave you stranded. Every other thing that I didn't mention, are things the other companies have too..... Only that scania's versions are always better. Built to last and to MAKE money for the company, not drain it away by stowing it away at a workshop over minor things. I've been scaniafrälst, as we call it here in Sweden. And for good reason.

Shame that it has an extremely uncomfortable diver seat, fills like sitting on a wooden classroom bench and after half an hour it's an absolute torture. I have to order myself a cushion to make it tolerable. Also steering wheel doesn't feel natural and I think on the move it's too light and give you no feel to the road on higher speeds. The cab can be quieter. The truck is not ugly but not looks nice either. However diver comfort is the main issue.
