I got the assumption when they combined SX/MX to one big series so if thats the case .... There shouldve been a stagered start like in sx they were almost halfway done so my question is how is two different rules for a series that they say is now combined as one entity so why two different rules just sounded and looked wrong ....i could be wrong about this just thought id ask

A huge shout out to the Lawrence Brothers!! Jett is great on the 450 but there is something super special about Hunter and mark my words, he's going to be just as good as Jett once he gets settled in on a 450. We are in for amazing racing with the best of all time brother team. Way to go Australia. They always pump out great riders. Much respect to the most friendly country with great people.

Hunter Lawrence has responded to adversity quite well. Haiden Deegan has responded to adversity... not so well. Jett Lawrence seems to be completely oblivious to pressure. Chase Sexton realizes that Jett Lawrence is pressure personified.

JL reminds me of ETs run on his Honda...prior to his body slamming in Colorado... We see young men come into this class without full respect for the brutal forces of those powerful engines. A seasoned line of 450 riders all have a fearful stare. I don't see it with JL...yet. Sure love to see him ride, though!

Deegan just had to relax stay focused and crush everyone but his desperation at the start to get back to where he was, was his biggest mistake after that with Budds gnarly conditions it’s was a lost cause at that point.
@kimcrews1721 Жыл бұрын
Deegan needs to keep his head straight and focus. Yes he's a rookie doing great things and I know he wants to go balls to the walls but sending it like he did after the restart causing his wreck just shows he still has alot to learn. Consistency and speed wins races. He doesn't need to try and prove a point every weekend. His form looks a little sloppy at times.
@chrisvillarreal2752 Жыл бұрын
@@kimcrews1721 💯 you could easily see he had it in the bag on the second start too but that spilt moment of desperation ruined it and sent him on a tantrum worse then the one he was already on. But hey hopefully it’s a learning experience and he can grow from it instead of being bitter.

That onboard camera they kept cutting to was super annoying. The angle sucked, who wants to see the sky and a rider's chest and helmet for 30 seconds straight. There's gotta be at least 5 better angles you could place the camera in.

Is there anyone else that thinks Ricky needs to go be a rider coach and let James in the booth 100% of the time? Ricky just mangles the English language and he's not cut out for announcing. James is a natural. Also, who else feels it was stupid to have Filthy Phil camera angle? What's the big deal showing a rider flailing around? We tune in to see the race, not a rider flailing around. The coverage this last weekend was super horrible. Even when they had an out and out battle up front they go to a 'drone' shot of 4th and 5th place and it was so far away you really couldn't see what was happening. Then they go to the "battle box" and you can't see anything especially the drone shot because it's too small. They need to figure out better coverage, they have done a good job in the past but they seem to be getting worse and not better. First off, get rid of the drone...or at least limit the drone footage. It's too far away to really see rider action. They have super expensive cameras out there at every corner to catch the action and stitch it together but they go to a drone that's too far way and has 480K footage. Ugh.

Incorrect Wedge, Yamaha won all National pro titles in 1978, yes there wasn't 5 titles, but they won all titles, Hannah SX title the only SX title rhe toughest eras, All racers raced the one class, no give me titles, Glover 125cc outdoors, Hannah 250 outdoors and Burgett 500cc title, all these imo even tougher than today, 2 strokes , tracks were narly bikes broke, weren't reliable like todays 4t stroke soft era, harder to win a 125 than a 250 4t title imo, then there was the 500s. So it has been done and done when it was much harder to do, more teams more manufactures more riders and more fans more tracks. Not taking anything away from Honda but the fact that 4 of the 5 titles will be won by the Lawrence brothers also imo means its as much to do with them them than just the brand. You have no future if you don't know your past!!!

Not only that, but did you know the AMA rules actually say if an American rider called Deegan is leading the race at the time of red flag, the race need to start again and that Deegan rider needs to send-it Kamakazi at the first turn of the restart, and that if an Australian is leading they immediately give the overall win to them? Look it up. That rule's been the same for 30 years.
