Purchased a 23 base wrx on 11/08/23. Got a phone call from the dealer about recall on 10/13/23. Took it in for inspection on 10/15 and they kept it for repair. It's still there as of 10/26. Car had 320 miles on it when it was inspected. Light/break in driving only to and from work.

Checked vin on SOA and it says no recalls for my vehicle.

A broken driveshaft-----the Honda Fits were recalled for this and it effected A LOT of cars including mine. Driveshaft going out = cars staling it's dangerous....... and super annoying super super annoying.

Same for me I have a WRX sport 2023 and on the transport Canada website I have this message for the recall: Corrective Actions: Subaru will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front axle shafts and, if necessary, replace them.

Good to know! It seems like they are avoiding a big movement to dealers, which makes logistical sense, especially with their models that are sold to less mechanically inclined folks!
