Comparing the NX350 F-Sport would be the better comparison. Seems like you have a lower trim NXh vs a A Spec RDX. A few things to note: There is remote start functionality on the key fob. Press the lock button 4 times and it will remote start. They do offer electronic folding back seats in higher trims if you feel that you don't like where they have the lever. There are heated rear seats offered in higher trims as well. Heads up display is offered in higher trims. The shifter is the same to the original Prius offered 20 years ago - yes it's not the same as other shifters, but many it's not the first vehicle with the same shifter style. Not sure why you say the plugin hybrid soon it will be available as it's been available a year ago This generation NX was redesigned in 2022 and not 2023.

I would take the Lexus, I like the looks better, that green is amazing. The easier infotainment is a huge deal for me, and it also gets better fuel economy, I don't think sportiness is a huge priority in this segment but the RDX definitely takes the cake for that one. The NX doesn't handle bad just not as good as the RDX, but I think it makes up for it in other places. Just like you said the Lexus offers a heads-up display and heated rear seats, you just have to option it one by one Ultimately you can't go wrong with either one, both are really good SUVs. I’ve cross shopped both of these models. I chose the NX350H (hybrid). Purchase price was only slightly more than the optioned out RDX I built…. but the residual value at the end of a 3 year lease was much higher on the NX….. which is indicative of the resale value. On top of that… the difference in mileage was over 10mpg. It was an easy decision for me.

While I like the Lexus, I feel like the interior is caving in on me at 6 feet tall. You are correct in that the seat is positioned too high. I find this to be the case in most Toyota/ Lexus crossovers and cars. I have lowered the seat all the way down in every vehicle and my head only has less than 2" from hitting the roof. I'm looking at the headliner out the windshield. Just feels cramped for me. Wish I was just a little shorter as I would 100% buy the Lexus. Guess I'm relegated to a Highlander hybrid. Didn't want to buy a boat but it is what it is.
@MrSupernova111 Жыл бұрын
Same. I test drove both the NX and the RDX. In the NX my head hit the visor while I was getting in the car. Given, someone shorter must have sat in the car before me but this has never happened to me in any other vehicle. The RDX immediately feels more roomy. I also don't like being nickled and dimed like Lexus likes to do. I did like the feel of Lexus but didn't like how loud it was inside the vehicle. At the moment, it seems the RDX is going to be my next vehicle.

Should have used the NX350 F-Sport. Unfair testing the RDX A-Spec against the NX-Hybrid. The F-Sport also doesn't have a CVT. 🤷♂️ That said, it was still a very thorough comparison.

Lexus dropped the ball for 350H. Im 6' and it sits way to tall. Need to go to Fsport to drop the seat a couple inches

Before seeing this review we already decided to get the RDX for our son's first car.

The NX is a small vehicle. I'm surprised the NX is in the same size class as the RDX. The NX is the same size class as the mazda Cx-5

RDX should be compared against RX, just saying.

RX is a larger SUV?
@anitajerkin Жыл бұрын
@@SamCarLegion The NX is more akin to the HR-V (and if Honda would make an upscale version) in size, that's the logical comparison. It's like if you were to compare an Audi Q3 against a BMW X3, it's asinine.

@@anitajerkin RX offers three rows? RDX doesn’t?
@anitajerkin Жыл бұрын
@@SamCarLegion Just because you can cramp another pair of seats into an SUV doesn't make it the same league. You'd probably compares an X7 to a RX because it has "3 rows". Most people wouldn't compare an RX to an X5, but you do you.

@@anitajerkin X5 comes with a third seat option. So yes I would compare X5 to RX :). I spoke to 2-3 colleagues, they agreed with this comparison:)
