The white and blue is growing on me

With those ugly cheap looking silver forks, the white really hides them to the point you don’t notice them. I also like the way from front, top and rear you only see white. The blue wheels really pop from the sides. The all blue is really nice, but maybe too bright and too much of it that one may get sick of it. The black has matte so that will take extra work and again those silver forks stick out badly. Like you maybe the white was my least favourite, now by far my most favourite. I will be buying this in the coming days.

I'm currently riding a Honda Fury and stopped by the dealership for service. This was in the showroom, same color, and it is beautiful. Great riding position and very comfy seat. I'm debating on getting it. After riding a bike with a 71 inch wheelbase this felt like a minibike. It's been a few months, what's your thoughts on it now?

Knowing you’re still running it in so Congratulations on the new Suzuki 8S👌 What type of riding will you mainly be using it for & will you use it for a bit of weekend touring (ie: not super long distances) ? What accessories have you added or will want to add? Does the US bikes come pre-fitted with LED indicators? Enjoy it & can’t wait for mine to arrive in Aus🤙

Hey there! As noted I’m still breaking it in. But I rode from Point Reyes to Humboldt county via Hwy 1 (up the coast of California) and back the last two days. Bike was amazing. Just seems super solid in all aspects. Good cornering, holds it weight well (doesn’t feel heavy) and did really well on a long ride. I got around 50-60 MPG. I’m currently at 520 miles. Seat is not the most comfortable on super long rides, but that’s expected for this style bike. So far so good. I’m excited to get to that first maintenance appointment at 600 miles so I can start hammering this thing. The torque is mind-bending. 1st through 4th gear is reality quick (probably because the torque gets you there so fast) but the gearing in 5th and 6th feels slightly different and is obviously the “cruise mode” gears for freeway riding. At 65mph in 6th gear I was running around 4200-4300rpm. Redline is at 9,800 I believe based on my display. So this thing rips in the twisties, especially tight roads with the torque, and can easily cruise at freeway speed without the engine working too hard. Like I said early on - just a super solid bike so far. No real gripes at the 520 mile mark.

Also keeping it in ride mode B for now. Because the torque is so gnarly I don’t want to get myself into trouble. Even in mode B is super responsive. Mode A is like “let’s maybe wheelie with each blip of the throttle”

Good to know they started showing up in the US. Hopefully the dealer I ordered from will have mine soon. I called a few days ago but they didn't show it in the system yet.

Yep. I had to drive 6 hours to get mine. Every dealer near me was showing July. Suzuki Van Nuys had six of them. I was the first to pull out of the showroom but the others were sold

Low and mid range bike for sure. Flat up in the upper revs. 77 rwhp.

Ride it first. It makes plenty of power down low to make up for it. How often do u bounce off the limiter? Less than 1% of your riding time?. Top end is not that valuable on the streets

Looks like its got led signal lights (euro only regular incandescent bulbs )and a different tail light than the euro version
