Back out on the Yamaha Tenere 700, I think this is only the second time out on the bike this year... the weather has been so bad, so wet and generally unpleasant, but it was good to shake the rust off and get some much needed motorcycle therapy!
Conditions were tough, but with a bit of momentum and feet on the pegs, the 200kg's just disappears... unless you find yourself on the ground of course😄
For me the Tenere 700 might just be the sweet spot in Mid-size Adventure motorcycling. I think it looks the part, it has a great little engine, handles well, just about manageable weight wise, it is relatively simple (without all of the unnecessary electronics) it is super reliable and whilst it is not cheap, it is priced such that you don't have to loose any sleep worrying about chucking it down a dirt road.
Apologies for the sound at times. My external mic decided to disconnect mid ride...
Cheers,
