As a young 73 year old with 54 years riding ( started in 1968 riding a 1967 Bonneville 650 ) and the proud owner of two Triumph 1215 triples I commend you. Keep riding because it keeps you young. I looked at the SV650, but ended up with a Honda NC-750. All the best from frigid Wisconsin.

As a 50 years old total beginner, I really want this SV as my first bike!! Nice looking, reliable, bulletproof engine and elegant. I think it would be an excellent bike for beginners as me ✌️

Excellent video. Waited 5 months for an SV 650 blue frame that I ordered. Got tired of waiting and seen a Z900 at the dealership for $1400 usd more. Bought the Z and love it. Still would like to own one before Suzuki discontinues this great bike.

Running out of room in my garage. It will have to stay in the house till it warms up outside here in Idaho. You really have great videos. New sub.

I've gone to two Suzuki dealers to order a 2023 sv650 and they said they can't order Suzuki's and just have to wait to see what Suzuki sends them. Not a good way to sell motorcycles!

@@ronaldthomas9396 So true. Hopefully you'll find one. They're worth the wait. These bikes are a blast. Brakes are better than I expected. Power is excellent and sound with stock exhaust is delightful.Suzuki will be out of the bike business if they keep this up.

My best bike was a Suzuki GS 750. That's back before aluminum frames, water cooling, and antilock braking. But it was amazing.

I went to two Suzuki dealers and wanted to order the SV650. Neither one would take a deposit and said that they can't order Suzuki's but only get the allotment that Suzuki sends them! A very poor marketing plan!

The last update was in 2016, in reality its the same bike that came out in 1998. The only reason to buy this bike in 2023 is if you cannot afford a Triumph, Honda or Yamaha and want a basic bike with no choice of modes.
