You can def tell Kyle has some sort of injury bothering him, I don't think I've ever seen him so off his game before. Simon had a similar 1st round to last week at the DMC, he played well and has a decent score, but with some missed putts he should've been -8

These guys are always good on commentary, but the one thing I think Fish could do to make this more enjoyable is just not be so matter-of-fact and monotonous on his delivery. Put a little more excitement into describing great shots and, for instance, bring up how impressive Alden is playing as -6 thru the 7 holes I've watched so far

I disagree. Fish is one of the best commentators out there and combined with Nathan they make the perfect team. I wouldn’t expect him to be anything other than the great commentator he is. He’s a lot more upbeat and to the point than most others and avoids the usual long winded dribble you hear from many others behind the mic.

@@mtp9214 I think Nathan is always great. For some reason, Fish's constant monotone voice, without much excitement or acknowledgement when players make spectacular shots and such, has just been making it more boring to me than in previous seasons. Sorry, because he seems like a great guy and is definitely much smarter than myself. Nathan Queen is a good example of a pretty great golf commentator, as he has a nice calm voice YET still manages to put excitement and emphasis into his voice/delivery, in the right moments, after great shots etc, which makes the viewing experience more fun to watch IMO, assuming you're watching without any knowledge of what is about to happen

Cale misses first putt and blames basket as he clearly launched it to hard and low left side. Not a very good form of putting and if you look at players that throw and don’t worry about their arm and body and hand pose at the end clearly has better shots. Some people need to critique their throw not there form after throw. Like wearing shades on a cloudy day. Lol

Makes sense to me, the area you'll have a putt from on Hole 5 is mostly short and left of the basket. So although the "green" as defined by the circle surrounds the basket, the ideal "green" is that short left area. To reach that ideal putting area, you need to throw specifically in that direction

Lol I know what he means when he’s saying it, he could say this requires direction specificity on literally every disc golf hole ever made, it’s such a meaningless statement that he’s using to try and sound smart when all it means is that the disc has to go in a specific direction which is super obvious to everyone.
