Yea I agree with you. I was disapointed that I couldn't get my hands on a Platinum Highlander, but decided to do the video anyway! I might re do it with a platinum later in the year. If so, is there anything specific I should add to the video? Thanks for watching!

Very UNFAIR comparisons😂 …even a BASE RX 350 would beat out a HighLander XLE…no way it comes close to an RX F Sport LOL…next time come with a PLATINUM, LIMITED or FULLY LOADED XSE for a CLOSER COMPARISON to keep viewers interested and more importantly YOUR CREDIBILITY UP🤷🏽

I have owned both the Toyota & Lexus. I can say with certainly that both were excellent vehicles. I drove both for years. Why did I have both? Because when I had the Highlander I had 2 kids at home and hauled all their stuff (school/sports/friends). Years later, after they moved out. My wife and I traded up to a Lexus and yes we spent more money. The RX in my opinion is more refined, quieter and has a little more get up go and breaking. But it was more money.....

Yes, cutater, the Lexus is more refined, quieter, more giddyup (and I hope you meant braking). What it also has is massive overstyling...like ALL current Lexus.

Clearly you are trying to sell Lexus, should have used a Highlander Platinum.. failed to mention Lexus is premium gas only .. I traded in a 21 Lexus GX For a 23 highlander platinum which has more luxury options with a better interior color choices.. FYI Toyota Owns Lexus

Ahhhh I'm sorry about that ! I try not to come off too biased, however the majority of my experience has been with Lexus! Also I thought I did mention the premium gas at the 16:48 mark however maybe I should have started with that sooner in the video! I did try to get a platinum Highlander, however our Toyota dealership didn't have one available. So the next time they do, perhaps I'll re do this video with a more comparable package. Would there be anything else I should add when going over the details? Please let me know so I can improve on it! Thanks in advance!

The Highlander XSE also has a very sporty black front grill vs the regular one. Like someone else mentioned already, the platinum awd is like. Luxury Lexus.

It will be interesting to see how the upcoming 2024 Lexus TX compares to the Highlander although that may be more like the Grand Highlander.

The reason that the seats on highlander are softer is because the Lexus you use is RX 350 f-sports.

The GX is not comparable to the Highlander. GX is built on a truck platform from the 4runner and Land Cruiser.

Actually now they are almost equal in price in Poland and there is actually no reason to buy a Highlander, at least here . The RX is very expensive, but the Highlander is even more, somebody completely messed the prices. Highlander should be a family car, much more affordable. It’s just unreasonably pricey.

Toyota Highlander had nicer interior colors on the platinum.. Lexus interior is all black .. Not a fair comparison.. a Lexus higher trim a lower Highlander … guess this guy doesn’t know that “Toyota” owns Lexus
