Yay, yes that is so frustrating. I remember that issue long long ago with wow but couldn't figure out how to take care of it at first. I forgot we didn't really use more than one monitor back in those days. Glad I could help you out.

I would have to look into that. I had taken care of it a few patches ago and it's remained ok for me after each patch update. I think I've installed the last three patches and still not seen the bug come back. Will let you know.

Legacy WoW (classic/vanilla) addons for classic are not supported. They are all red in the wow add-ons folder and listed as not updated. PfQuest worked - that's it from Shagu.

How do i open up addons in game. fx i cant open bartender2--- where is the menu of addons so can tweak them

bartender2 is overly complicated in this client of wow, and requires a lot of chat commands and set up. I would recommend the mod moveanything instead of any version of bartender. In game each addon has its own menu. Some you can click on your UI others you have to know the / chat command to access them. You will need to go to the addons download page and they will have the in game chat commands for their menu and editing.

What I'd like to know is why fishing hasn't been fixed yet. It only hooks 10-20% of the time with perfect timing. It's really bizarre.

Thats how fishing worked with classic. Your skill level only gives you a better chance to get a good rng roll to make the catch. And then as your skill goes higher, lower level fishing areas move closer to or up to 100% success.

You can return to the starting area and add the pvp/warmod glyph as long as you haven't used and already disabled it previously. I believe its only 30% increase exp for mobs.

OP or anyone else: Is there a levelling guide addon that actually works with TurtleWoW that has similar functionality to addons like Zygor Guide where it automatically goes through each step of the guide for you? I've found Jaina's Atlas Loot guide but it's literally just the html guide screenshots in the game, which isn't too helpful. For me, levelling SUCKS without a Zygor-like guide. Thank ye's!

They have a majority of the added quests around those already part of the traditional leveling routes, other than the ones placed in totally new areas they have added. But like other quests you mostly get sent there from a quest hub or main city once you are of level. As far as I know the Turtle WoW data base is the only place to find that. Its helpful but could really be reworked and more user friendly.

Can anyone please help me? I downloaded the quest addon pfQuest (turtle), renamed the folder properly and copied it into the addons folder but on the character screen it says "Dependency missing", when I mouse over it it says Dependencies: pfQuest Couldn't find anything in the web about it.

Hey, I saw on the twow forums a few ppl were complaining about malware being detected from twow client. The devs said it is because they dont have the digital signature. Did you have any problems like that?

Yes I know some protections flag turtle wow and the devs talk about it on the discord. I didn't have any alerts pop up myself

A warning popped up for me on Avast. You can ignore it, it is just a false positive. There is no malware.

Hello ! Anyone else has trouble with unstable fps and spinning mouse specialy inside buildings and caves ? It really make the experience pretty bad :/

My fps always stays the same but my latency has had weird spikes at times. I am from the US though and they being in EU somewhere I assumed it would happen. Let me look into this bug and see if this has been a big issue for some people.

Great video, what addon are you using for your actionbars so that they are stacked on top of each other?

Shagutweaks. Then in the additional settings I chose to 'make action bars smaller' and it removes various things and stacks them nicely like that

Yes you can grab them at any time. The only thing you can't do is play HC mode once you pass level 1. All the others are there

Hey, i have problem with turtle wow. I use shagu tweaks and when i use hard cc as rogue, for example cheap shot - its shows 4 seconds, BUT when i attack this tarket its shows 4 seconds again and again so basically show nonsence numbers, cant find fix at all for this...

Not sure, I know some of the tweaks do act a bit odd at times. Thats why I swapped and just dealt with pfui for now. I'll ask and see if I can find anyone else that has this same issue.

With the dark looking ui scenes I am using Pfui, it has its own edit systems to set things up how you want. In the screens where I have a more classic UI look I am using Shagutweaks, which again has its own simple setting to adjust bars.. Bartender does still work but man, its a pain to even try setting up. This was before it really had a user friendly system.

I don't believe so. Let me look around and see if anything like that pops up. Did you try out shagutweaks? It has a load of interface and quality of life additions. Menus systems as well as the ability to custom the UI

Love the server but the GM's are so swamped with the influx of players joining that they have no choice but to be trigger happy with the ban hammer, people can report you for anything and the gm's wont even investigate the issue, their solution is to just perma ban you with no email or even contacting you in game to discuss whats going on, this forces you to apeal on their discord in which case they will unban you (again without even looking into the issue) the idea being that people who actually did break the rules probbaly wont appeal because they asume it wont make a difference, and yes getting rid of those players is good for the community but having to constantly appeal just because you looted a chest you didnt realize someone else was also going for so they report you for harassment is just not worth the trouble in my opinion. I understand why its this way, if all they did was answer reports they'd have no time to work on updates, hopefully they can get more staff or maybe introduce a way for trusted players to handle reports by voting on the issue or something.

Not entirely true. Had half a salty raid report me for "holding" a world boss (I was trying to reset it in water) and nothing happened. Much more serious infraction.

If they are for classic wow yes. Look for legacy addons for classic wow and just check the wiki page found at the turtle wow forums. They will list those addons that work. Or there is also the discord which has a section just for addons. I've found a good number of the legacy wow addons will work.
