Thank you so much!! I’m very glad 🙂 you liked the video. For once there were lots of birds just because there was water! Let’s hope weather patterns will become more regular but with what we do to the planet it’s hard to believe. I will be waiting for your videos ! There is so much to discover on your channel ! Thank you again !🙏🙏😊😊

Hello ! Thank you for writing. We have a long drought in the plains surrounding Tokyo and only a few lakes can keep water. For birds it’s like an oasis especially because there are trees with seeds and berries. Thank you for your appreciation. My best wishes for this weekend !

Hello 👋! Thank you for your kind words. It’s encouraging. I wish you and extremely pleasant weekend‼️🍀🍀🍀🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏
It is an interesting place. There are a lot of different birds that come there. I suppose in Japan there are not many places to choose from. Lovely peaceful atmospehere👍
@Nature_Watching_Japan9 ай бұрын
Hello! Yes there are places for birds to come if water or berries are available. The large plain area is desperately dry and only a few places keep water so of course birds gather there. Thank you very much for having kindly watched the video. I wish you an excellent weekend.🍀🍀🕊️🕊️‼️

What beautiful birds, Patricia. I don't know what birds I prefer, but no problem as they are all beautiful. So nice that they can take advantage of the flowers by eating the seeds too. Nature gives all, whether it is birds or people. Thank you for this lovely video. I hope you have a great weekend. Joan
So many species, even during winter! Really beautiful video👍Thanh for sharing 😊

Hello!👋 ! What very kind words ! Thank you very much! It was a special place that had water while the huge area around Tokyo is dry as a bone so birds showed up. Very best wishes for the new week.🍀🍀🍀🕊️🕊️🕊️‼️

Hello 👋! How very kind! I am so glad you are interested by Japanese nature ( these days limited to mostly wild birds but they all have their personalities). Thank you indeed. . My very best wishes for this incoming weekend and although I know it’s freezing cold in Canada at the moment let’s hope for more weather natural pattern. 🍀🍀🍀🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️‼️
Hello. a very nice compilation of birds and nice images!! Very well done.... Greetings Gijs
@Nature_Watching_Japan9 ай бұрын
Hello Gigs!!Thank you really. It was a unique place in the middle of a huge thirsty plain. Birds appeared everywhere because of the water. And trees were kept without doing ugly pruning like in the rest of Japan. All this made the place a real treat for both birds and birdwatchers. Very best wishes for the incoming week and thank you again !

Good morning here! Thank you very much for your kindness in watching and writing ✍️. As you know Tokyo is crossing a very dry period that is still stretching from last June. The government has a policy of drastically cutting and removing trees in case of accidents.As a result birds are becoming invisible. I hope for them they find a safe haven but for the lot of us it means going and trying everywhere!! I hope the weather is normal in Norway without special problems. Good health and good luck : very useful things. Thank you again!

Hello my friend. Thank you. 😃 It sounded dramatic. I hope it's not too serious. The weather in Norway is relatively normal. We have to have the faith.
Hello friend. You filmed a lot of birds, especially water birds. I also saw , "my" Mazurka (paser montanus)😍 indeed the same plumage. Great description of your whole video, it is very helpful for beginners😃👍 Beautiful footage. Greetings! Have a great evening!!!

Hello 👋 ! Thank you very much for your very kind words. You see we have the same sparrow thousands of kilometers away from one country to another ! Birds repartition is very special. I am studying it but can’t explain it. Please take care as it’s very cold at the moment ! Good luck for everything !

Hello. Thank you for your always wonderful videos. I'm looking forward to watching your videos on my days off. You can take good pictures of the Blue-bellied Redstart. That's very nice. I love the sound of wigeons. I would also like to tomoe and the yoshi duck. It's hard to see any of them in my field in Nikko.
@Nature_Watching_Japan9 ай бұрын
Hello! Thank you for writing ✍️ ! Yes Nikko is a little off road for the トモエ鴨.I filmed in Tochigi in a rather well known park with a lake and woods. It was a first time and it was really nice to see birds. In Tokyo or Kanagawa : no rain no water = birds don’t come. Tochigi and Nikko were good. Now I am in Mie prefecture for sea birds. I hope you will have time off to be able to go filming. Your videos are always wonderful. I wish you an excellent week and luck 🍀 too!

Another wonderful video Patricia, I was particularly interested to see the Baikal Teals as it was a report of a Baikal that drew me to Greylake last week, however it would be like finding a needle in a haystack to see one there and I had no luck! So many of your birds are mirrored here but it’s interesting to see the ones we don’t have. Our ‘Pygmy Woodpecker’ - the Lesser Spotted is so rare that I’ve never seen one and I don’t know anybody who has! Best wishes!
@Nature_Watching_Japan9 ай бұрын
Hello John, thank you indeed ! Baikak teals are thinly distributed over Japan but regular. 3 at a time is rather a maximum. I have never seen the little woodpecker in Europe either. The Japanese Pygmy woodpecker is more easy to find in woods since the plains are becoming treeless. But it’s findable. I also wish to see the little woodpecker someday but every time I go home it’s mostly the great spotted that I find. And on KZbin the little woodpecker has never appeared since I checked. I hope it is still thriving. I regularly watch channels from Poland or various countries just to see what’s still in existence in Europe but the little woodpecker escapes notice it seems. Let’s hope it will show itself before long.I sure wish you luck ( you are doing great one must admit !). Best of luck and thank you really.
@johnluk9 ай бұрын
Thank you Patricia, I’ve heard that they’ve been seen fairly locally but I wouldn’t waste time going to a suggested location as all birds are mobile and unlikely to still be around. I’m up pre-dawn tomorrow so I’ll say good night and good luck!
