Nature & Birds in a forest park, altitude abt 1000m # This video has been filmed the 3rd week of May in Nagano Prefecture. Due to the difference in temperature, the vegetation in that lower mountain area was in full spring colours while in Tokyo, summer is nearly there. Most summer birds were there together with the spring mountain flowers.

Hello. From your wonderful video, I can see and hear many birds, and their songs are delightful. There are also many blooming flowers, and the waterfall is so refreshing, capturing the essence of the season. The mountain scenery is breathtaking, and there are many deer as well. Thank you for the great footage.

Hello! How very kind of you: you are such a good photographer with extremely developed sense of beauty and aesthetics : I really am pleased with your message. I try my best but back in the city it’s hard to get excited with ムクドリand ヒヨドリ‼️ I keep my eyes open for any video of yours but I know you are busy. Very good luck in everything ! Thank you very much !🙂🙂🌸🌸‼️

Japan is absolutely beautiful country. I think most of the birds that migrate to Southeast Asia, must spend most of there time breeding in that area. So many birds. They are so beautiful I love this video my friend.

@@camnature1147 Thank you indeed Mr Cam, but you know it’s quite true: the flycatchers for example breed in Japan and go back to South East Asia afterwards in September or October. But you are the winners in number and beauty of birds. I am always astonished when I check your videos. I sincerely hope that forests and riversides will not become covered in concrete like Japan: our kingfishers can’t dig nests in the concrete! They need mud. Nature protection is a difficult thing but so important ! Sorry I wrote too much ! I hope you have a very good weekend and of course I wish luck to your conservation area and efforts ! Very best wishes !🙏🙏😊😊‼️

Hello 👋! Thank you indeed for your kind message. It’s encouraging. That place is difficult to reach from Tokyo and it was a first for me. There were loads of birds hidden in leaves and singing all the time and the vegetation was beautiful. A nice change from Tokyo. Thanking you again I wish you a great week and luck ( always necessary)!🙂🙂🍀🍀‼️

Thank you very much. 😃 Unfortunately, the weather has been unstable at the moment. The whole of June so far has not been on my side, and it doesn't look promising for the next ten days either. I have had to cancel a trip up the mountain.

We don't have woodpeckers here and I was surprised that they eat ants. I have seen many videos of these woodpeckers but none where they are eating ants. We have animals which specialise on eating ants but birds mostly avoid them. A lovely compilation. It is hard to decide which I like more, the plants or the birds. Nice to see them both together😎👍

Hello! Thank you very much for writing. Yes it seems woodpeckers are very fond of ants. And not only here. In Europe as well. Full of proteins I suppose. As for the video I would love to do more flowers and vegetation but I don’t dare so I only use a little of what I film. Not even high in the mountains there are very beautiful tree blossoms in spring… there are small orchids but they are hard to find and nothing as beautiful as yours. With all my best wishes ! A very great week to you who are soon in winter I gather.🙂🙂🍀🍀‼️

What a beautiful place, wonderful observation and photography! I’ve never seen a European Buzzard hovering like a Kestrel as your Japanese one does and your Pygmy Woodpecker is so characterful, the British version so rare! I’m sure I’d have missed the Flycatchers hidden in the foliage! Congratulations on another epic production. Looking forward to the next one.

Hello ! Thank you indeed John, it was a great place up in the mountains. Back in Tokyo it’s far from great: most trees are chopped down ( every city in Japan has taken the decision to remove trees along rivers so many birds have disappeared since last year, they convert the small woods all along the rivers in baseball fields or playgrounds). As a result only parks retain trees. Limited though. Japan seems to be the only country to do so in Asia. Can’t be helped. I’m glad to see that UK is welcoming more and more egrets : ours are nowhere to be seen. But I wonder where yours came from. South of Europe ? Africa? It’s hard to say with the climate change. Thank you each time and very good luck birds and weather wise !

By the way: our buzzards shouldn’t be hovering either! That was really surprising.!!
