Yes, it was. There is a problem with the calendar in Norway this year… after July we got November and only now August is starting! How’s Løkken? I heard there was some weather just suitable for kayak competitions in Denmark in the last weeks…

Very nice to have such surprises at the end of the season - and that landscape is spectacular, why were the vikings so keen to get away? I scraped 65km along the S.Coast of England 2-days earlier - I guess in the same weather window as you used for your flight, to have tea with my brother : ) Good to see you in Saint André, but all too short.

Hi Frazer. Yes, nice meeting you in St. Andre. If I remember correctly, the first time we raced together was in Montclar in the Gin Wide Open, in much better weather! Flying so far north is a privilege even in summer... so good conditions in October need to be specially celebrated :). Looking forward to meet you again? No Colombia for you?!

What vario instrument are u using. i took the same flight 15 years ago :-)

I use an UltraBip mini vario/gps + Navigator on the phone. I have used this setup for the last 2 competitions and I start to believe that I don't need much more than that... Flying in Bergen area can be very rewarding... when there is reasonable weather! Lots of beautiful places to explore, beside the main flying area (Arna and Ulriken). Did you manage to come back from Os?
