Aston Martin has unveiled the all-new DB12, which ushers in a new era for the brand with significantly more power, better dynamics and an even higher level of comfort inside.
The newly optimized twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 from Mercedes-AMG now delivers much more power than before, making the DB12 even more powerful than the DB11.
The eight-cylinder engine produces 671(500 kW ) horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 590 pound-feet (800 Nm) of torque.
The new coupe accelerates to 60 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 202 (325 km/h) miles per hour.
In addition, there is an all-new suspension system that includes adaptive dampers, stiffer anti-roll bars, stability control, and, for the first time on an Aston Martin, an electronic rear differential tuned to provide additional agility on twisty roads.
The car is rear-wheel drive and has an eight-speed automatic transmission, which has a shortened main gear ratio compared to the DB11.
An all-new infotainment system designed and developed entirely by Aston Martin.
It features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a new navigation system with online connectivity and 3D mapping, a mobile device application, and over-the-air updates.
There are three driving modes - GT, Sport, and Sport+, with escalating responsiveness and stiffness.
The car rides on new 21-inch wheels, which are 17.6 pounds (8 kg) lighter than the 20-inch wheels on the DB11.
The wheels are fitted with specially designed Michelin Pilot 5s tires with noise-absorbing polyurethane.

Aston Martin has if going on! They have made huge strides almost unbelievable in F1 being on the podium four out of the last five races. The same management has produced the DBX 707 and now DB12 which is 80% new but keeps the classic looks. Aston is truly giving Ferrari a run for their money with their last two cars with more to come. Less weight, way more power, E-Diff, state-of-the-art suspension tire combination, the coolest mirrors ever seen, finally an updated infotainment system and more leg room and headroom. I am a Ferrari owner and will stay a Ferrari owner but adding my second Aston to the mix.

looks like a mercedes benz It seems that the original design that Aston Martin had disappeared. This is especially true for indoor interiors. The front of the vehicle is too similar to a Mercedes AMG GT or Maticetti Gran Turismo Flange. The feeling of the db11 Aston Martin before that seems to be fine.

so they actually designed the interior, what else is new? and why THE FUCK is it not 4wd, considering DB11 and DBS are infamous for loosing grip even on best tyres and dry roads. Some things just drive me crazy, just put a 4wheel drive system in your car already ffs. its a GT not a super sports car ( i mean its 1788kg dry... ffs). my rant is because i really really like the exterior and really hated past interior and lack of 4 wheel drive.

Its not a beautiful car anymore as from the last model DB 11 .Looks like muscle car made in America. And no V12 ??? That was the only reason to buy Aston. Its on the price of Ferrari 812 ,what is ridiculous because the Ferrari looks like high end luxury product next to that ..Not good at .
