If you own both of these, you can make a comic accurate batman by swapping out the gloves and head of the platinum edition with the normal one, creating a comic accurate figure.

Those gloves look like they're the kind that they use in movies when they light a stuntman on fire. Hope Batman doesn't drop his Batkeys, he's not picking those up with the sausage fingers. These figures look awesome though. Odd they didn't include a trigger hand since Batman's early appearances he definitely used a pistol. Wonder what the odds are of getting a platinum version with my Amazon pre-order for this one or Azrael. Capes on both look awesome. Great couple of figures.

At least the platinums are actual repaints and not just unpainted figures. This looks like one of the few platinums I would not mind getting, but yeah fingers crossed I get the purple gloves in my preorder.

I found the standard at my local Target for the first time yesterday, then find the Platinum edition today at the same Target. Man, they have some serious stocking issues lol...and yes I bought them both (because reasons) :)

Excited for the standard version! They should've given the Platinum version a square belt and tweaked the bat symbol to when they started giving it a head.

I like the look of that figure a lot and I've got one on pre-order. I don't mind admitting though, that if I end up with the the platinum variant, the blue on the head and the boots is going to be painted over in black. The blue lining on the cape looks cool, though.

This is exactly what a Platinum Chase should be. Just a repaint that has a few small changes and not a whole different version of a characters costume.

Great looking figure and great review! Hope Todd does more wired cape figures going forward. Will be picking up the standard version (the blue on the mask of the platinum one doesn't do it for me personally). I'm probably in the minority but I usually prefer the plastic capes over the cloth ones or at least the cloth ones McFarlane's been doing but the wired cape beats them all for me, very Mafex-like. The gloves look kinda goofy though, like big oven mitts lol but still great figure overall.
