I might be in the minority but I like the look of this new car a lot. The other one was so generic. It was not special. This has presence. Same with the 7 Series. I also like the iX. The X5 is a very handsome vehicle with very well balanced proportions but the iX is unique and not ugly at all. What I am not happy about is the new interiors. I have loved BMW interiors since the 1970s. I don't mind the screen but I would integrate the screens into the car more and perhaps the controls on a vertical screen to almost mimic the driver focus on old. Then give the passenger their own controls

I don’t know why people say this is a poor design. The car is very nice in my opinion. It’s different and doesn’t follow the style of the E-class. I love both this 5 series and the E class and I don’t agree the merc looks better. It’s just different

For me, the BIGGEST deal-breaker is the loss of physical HVAC/climate controls; I just can't fathom taking my eyes off the road to fiddle with the climate controls on the screen. I'm glad I bought my 2023, the G30, in its final year with the physical buttons.

Too much focus on trying to be sleek resulting in a cheap look. The answer isn’t to just throw a big screen in it and call it luxury. There’s no design, just no soul. Prior gen is better aesthetically as expected.

This is a hit and miss which overall makes me like the last gen more. This looks like it got more plastic which is a turn off for a car that's over 60k and not having exposed exhaust is also a turn off. Idk I do like the ambient lighting and new screen but that's about it tbh

The hood is so thick near the windshield. The rear trunk is too slanted, the overall profile is awful. It looks bad compared to the current 5 series. The nose is worse than the current M3/M4 deaign, which I started to like. The interior is fine, just need to ditch that glossy piano black

What a weird ass looking 5-Series. Too tall and bulky from the front, almost FWD proportions which are just a total sin for a 5-Series. It only looks good if you look at the top half of the car. The only thing has going for it is that it's mildly less ugly on the road. Guys, your videos are great, but the driving scenes are totally BLOCKED the red box you're putting up when listing the features of the car. Find a different way to list the features while not blocking the running footage of the car.

nah man 7 series proportionally is better looking, a split headlights and big grille tells you its a 7 series, this 5 series looks like a mashup of a Accord front end with a BMW grille and Camry rear end, hard pass for me, G30 elegance is hard to beat

Already issues with the electronic… don’t like the sharp corners or the screens. I use to love the 5 series. I think all these Evs need to do more because they are all almost the same. The refinement and ultimate driving machine to me it’s gone! I don’t care for the games it is about performance luxury and really don’t see it. I will stick to the old 2104 5 m series
