Oh shoot wasn’t expecting that spill to happen. Glad you and the bike took it well though. This has to be the most extensive review now all things considered. Lol.

I thought the beeping was you editing language😂 you nailed it with momentum, street tires, gotta carry speed.

Thanks, John, yes taking this brute off road requires a different strategy than the little bikes. I hope you're doing well.

Charlie, This off road BMW motorcycle weighs almost as much as the 2 door Suzuki Sidekicks/Chevy Trackers of the early 2000s. The tires are certainly wider. 🤣

Suspension have to be set on the high position, you lost traction for this reason too.. and using road tires on a dry sandy uphill road it's like asking for truble. But the most important thing, some bottom end crash bars, for road use too, if you crash in the vrong spot you can break the engine block.....

My go to ride, on my go to bike. Howdy neighbor! Sorry about the Woopsie. I've been down that road, but I never had the nerve to go up the trails. Probably gonna wait until I have engine bars.

Yes, if you went a little faster and a little more left you would have avoided the pain... did you set the suspension soft enough?

Contrary to what you stated about it being a boxer engine after the crash, Considering the bike is stock std and didn’t have any crash protection, the boxer engine layout particularly did extremely well protecting the bike from major damage to fairings, handles bars etc If it had been any other stock bike it would have sustained major fairing damages and you would most likely not even have been in a position to continue on your journey

That's a great point!

Thanks for the video. One can get standard indicators if going off road, so replacement is cheaper. Also, if going off road in the way you did, it would be wise to get crash protection, which I think serious off riders would automatically do. Good if you only ride on the road as well. Hope your ankle is better! 🤗

Nice vid dude! Surprised the bike was in the low setting in enduro pro. I thought it was ment to stay in the higher setting when in that or enduro mode
@navairgeek4 ай бұрын
You can set in fixed low or high, in Enduro

@@navairgeek Seems contradictory to what off roaders would want but I guess it's nice to have a choice
@SileX406coup2 ай бұрын
@@NobIe117it kinda perfectly makes sense to be able to choose the height. You're not always flying MX style. Imagine being a little short legged, facing a super slow, technically section. Press the botton, drop the suspension and paddle walk it through there with ease.

Went on a demo ride with it after riding the f900 gs. I didn’t find it to be overly sporty or small. Didn’t find it big either. Ian from big rock moto said it was the best street bike he’d ever ridden. I found that very strange because bikes with 17 exist as well as the Ducati in this class

If you don't know how to ride off-road Don't go in there.. And the gs knows how to do much better than that.. The problem is not with the motorcycle... its you
