number one complaint on the BMW forums is this doesn't have a quick way to disengage engine auto start/stop. you have to change it into sport mode, or go into settings on the touch screen to disengage that feature EACH time you start the vehicle.

Yeah I agree that's kind of annoying, I guess the luxury comes with some quirks.
