Would you consider doing an in depth showcasing of the modifications needed to mount a scope on the SKS? I’ve been looking for literally anything with some close-ups as to where to drill and whatnot… awesome channel!

Can you share what specific surplus ammo you used for this video ? I'm sure you tried many of the years, but 7.62x54r is harder and harder to find, except for Norinco... I bought an SVT-40 recently and I'm still hesitating to buy Norinco surplus because of the hard primer...

This one was purchased from Lever Arms in 2019 for 375 cad. The surplus dried up within that same year. The first one i ever bought was 250cad from Wholesale Sports in 2013. Amazing they were that cheap back then.

@@DMPinBChonestly though compared to the prices of most surplus rifles, a semi automatic Siminov platform that *isn’t* an SKS, shooting 7.62x54r out of detacheable box mags, 1000 isnt that bad
