The rhododendrons are breathtaking, and I always love the aerial view of the chateau roof! Roses are fabulous! What a blessing to look back over all that has been accomplished this past year. "To God be the glory, great things He hath done!"

Wow! The food looks amazing. You're right, The 4 Seasons doesn't disappoint, right down to the dinnerware and glasses. F.Y.I. I'm a big fan of color cut to clear crystal and those white plates reminds me of a Bernardaud pattern I fancy. The food served on them looked just as exquisite. Bon appetit! Beyond the new roof, which was no small improvement, the Château looks great. I've already expressed my appreciation for the new sand. The rhododendrons look so pretty. They're one of my favorite flowers. Leslie, your talent as a decorator is really paying off, all over the house. What a monumental task. I loved the tour. Rob, you did a great job as cinematographer. I appreciate your consideration when winding through the halls and around corners. It really did help to orient myself. Leslie, if you ever decide to paint over the mural of unknown origin, I hope its replacement is simply amazing. It's not exactly Titian, but it does have a certain charm to it. It is kind of funny though, that they thought they needed something rather grand to remind them of what they could simply walk outside to see in all its splendor.🙅🙅‍♀️ Welcome to all the new students. What a wonderful time you're going to have. I did it my senior year at university, and I never regretted it. A shout-out to Mr. Bingley, who's living his best life. ❤ from TX!

LOL... "we" stenciled. Is that the editorial "we?" We means LESLIE stenciled the GA rooms, and beautifully, too! And "we" scraped the ceilings, meaning ROB did a heroic job that looks frankly spectacular!

Ok, I don't usually make requests but please take pride in what you have accomplished so far and stop apologizing. You have put in so much hard work since you bought it, and it looks SO good now compared to when you were bobbing and weaving through Da Rona restrictions. It looks vibrant and alive and really clean now. What you have accomplished during the last year and a half including a wedding, roof replacement and move is more than most could handle. Just the last few months alone have made a world of difference, take pride and focus on that while keeping your humility (a beautiful characteristic you two have)! The fact that you do everything you can yourselves serves as a great example to others who think they cannot. You may also want to mention that there is yet another floor to remodel to make more rooms eventually instead of apologizing for three beds in a bedroom as you are making the best of what you have right now and are giving the students the experience of a lifetime! So many folks are struggling these days to do basic things and you two can serve as that light in the dark for so many. Times may be challenging, but you two have hit the curveballs into home runs. I am not a particularly religious person in the usual sense in that I am not a part of any one religion, however I have to say your stories and the teachings you share to be very easily digestible even to me. Unlike many folks who want to share their beliefs, I never feel like you are going overboard and it never has made me want to stop watching. If I could ever make it over there, I would actually love to spend time discussing beliefs with you both. I don't feel as if I would be judged and you both handle things so calmly. I almost never want to do that, most folks seem to just parrot what their particular religion teaches them while you share with care and grounded reasoning and can apply it to real life. You truly have that higher calling and understanding. That is what comes across on this end anyway. I acknowledge that folks come across different online like this, but I feel that you two are some of the most genuine. You may have a Château, but you are still humble and are hard workers. I remember my one trip to Church Camp VERY well (I went when I was 12 and ended up marrying my crush while there after many years of losing touch) so I appreciate what you are giving these youth in addition to Bible Study. It is truly priceless. I look forward to hopefully seeing you expand the programs in various directions as you feel comfortable and once you get more work done. The "breaks" between sessions to continue the work are so critical right now. Thanks for continuing to share your journey and lives with us, I really appreciate it!

What a wonderful walk-through! You have done so much and will bless so many students. You are in our prayers. An idea for the slightly "kooky" 1980's bathrooms: can you epoxy the tiles that are solid but not colored the way you prefer, like we do in the US? It works incredibly well and allows you to retain materials that only need a cosmetic upgrade.

Not sure if you left the piece of trim in the stairway the old colour on purpose or if you missed it, so funny to see the old colour .
