Being A Diesel Head,A Ford Fan All My Life,I Must Admit I Do Love All HD Trucks(Different Degrees Of course).I Do Have A Problem With Full size Ones.,I Love The Ford F150,Toyota Tundra & Nissan Titan But Chevy 1500, It's Twin Cousin The GMC 1500 & Ram 1500 Designs Don't Do For.

@88corinutza Are there any vehicles that never have any sort of issues? I feel like the biggest thing hurting these newer model trucks is the emissions systems. I have a 2020 Silverado 3500, that I use for hotshot, and I have 160,000 miles on it. My two main issues have been the DEF tank itself, and the DPF.

right where are these people getting the money,i remember when cars cost more than trucks,the mark up price on these new trucks is like 35,000 dollars,i saw a video on here where thats what it was for a new ford truck,im a chevy guy but im super happy in my 1995 z71,i get tons of compliments on it every where i go,ive had it 23 yrs.that truck is almost a hundred grand psshhhh,almost a house depending on where you live

Too bad no dealerships have ANY of these trucks in stock. They make you order one at inflated prices and wait for months for it. The chip crisis is over so now they're just using these tactics to prevent them from having to pay for the vehicles while they sit on the lots. Smart on their part. It takes any leverage a customer would have away because dealerships no longer want to desperately move a vehicle that's been on their lot a while. Bend over everyone and bring some good lube with you.

First, production just started last week on these 2024 models. Second, GM had to slow production because they were exceeding demand. Third, dealers are their own entity and not owned by the brand so if you don’t like your dealer you can go elsewhere. The joys of the free market is that you can go elsewhere and are not forced to buy anywhere in particular.

@@GTGarageTalk I stand by my comments whether it's a 2023 or the new 2024 models. Not one 3500 on a lot at any of the 20 or so dealerships within a 4 hour raidius from where I'm at. You're right that they slowed production but I don't believe it's because of too much demand. They seemed to be able to keep up with demand for decades but now they want us to believe there's too many buyers? Not at these inflated prices. Hogwash!!

Love the new front end ,fog light placement and new wheel design. DON'T like the bottom chrome strip on the doors ,and I think Chevrolet could do a better job on designing their dually mudflaps .

It comes down to manufacturing at scale. It is much more cost-effective to make a standard black versus a paintable version that would need to go through the booth as well.
