It has the capability of a three-quarter ton or even a one ton but nonetheless, I wouldn’t pay under care for any truck. However, my 35 grand Ford lightning has been perfect for my small business.

I own a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado and just fixed water pump, new battery, and fuel pump! Still runs if need new engine $5,000 bucks ! Still a hellava lot cheaper than an EV Silverado at $100,000 dollars!

To let you know about acceleration of the Model S Plaid, it never gets old. I have yet to take it out of Plaid mode in 27K miles. I also pay for FSD and don't use it, because I like driving too much. There is nothing like driving the fastest production car made and enjoying each and every drive.

So funny how I see Avalanche mention so many times. Who cares. It’s an amazing vehicle that out does all competitors in every way with soon to be many options on price points. Love the walk through! I have had reservation in since day one and will finally be picking my new one up tomorrow ☺️. I can’t wait. I had a 2014 V in the 2019 Volt and they were the best cars ever with great resale value. Never had a single issue with either one. I also now have the Chevy blazer EV and it’s amazing and drives perfect. I think Chevy is doing an awesome job

Being a retired mechanic I would definitely consider if it was 20,000 cheaper. The cost of replacing the tires every 15,000 miles , because of electric vehicles and weight of battery weight and the torque of this truck, you'll need to replace those 24 inch tires, it's going to be a costly price to replace those tires!!

Same. Absolutely love this truck and, while I'm fortunate to say I'm not hurting financially, $98k is just ludicrous. Hopefully the price drops in the coming years as battery tech becomes more readily accessible for all.

For the people saying this is insane for a truck price Realistically, in todays economy, this is an EV fully loaded truck that can generate power to your house or other cars casually . While still having a ton of luxuries, safety, utility, and overall just fun. While i will be getting this truck, it will not be my only veichle since i don't want to worry about charging it frequently

The only redeeming feature that would make me buy this EV truck is the 10' long cargo bay, with the back seats down. I wish I could get a hybrid truck with that feature. The interior seems a little plasticky, but I'll do a test drive myself to check it out.

Just so confused who the market will be for this truck at $100K. Seems great I like the ultium platform and honestly I can afford this truck. I just don’t see it as a competitor to what else is out there at or below that price. Really wanted to see GM hit a home run with their 2024 lineup unfortunately the pricing on this guy is just so unappealing that despite being impressive it isn’t close to $100K impressive.

Nice vehicle. The sunroof concept is a problem for Floridians. No Apple CarPlay or Android Auto??? Wow! I usually set that up before I set my seat position in a new vehicle. DOA...especially for $100K.

You need to change that tires on the hummer to a/t from m/t - the ride is much better otherwise the A/Ts will take you all over the road. I assume the tires on the RST are probably better than what you get.

yea this is a rip off. besides the range.......the interior is absolute hot garbage. for 100k?! i get cheap plastic and no special interior or seat or anything? not even a digital display in the back or anything? this is just cheap everything with a great range. This should look like a top end denali inside! rip off. im not paying this much cash for no effort. Plus the first EV they made, hummer ev, has so many damn electric issues and charging issues. i don't trust them at all. ill keep my cybertruck thank you. i waited for it and it was worth it to me.

I agree with the critique that the interior should be better, like the denali, for this price point. But that argument loses a lot if the cybertruck, which costs even more, is considered good enough. It has less than half the towing range and the interior features are even less. It does at least have a really good payload rating, and I’m not saying it’s bad overall or for all use cases. I’m glad you enjoy it, but the fact that you do enjoy it despite its spartan interior and driver-unfriendly issues like poor direct visibility and having to use the infotainment as a rear view mirror is proof that these things don’t necessarily render a vehicle “not worth” their $100k+ purchase price.
