2024 Chevy Blazer EV -- Trade in the Gas Blazer for this EV Camaro Crossover??

The Blazer EV is actually really nice. I recently test drove an RS AWD in blue with this exact interior and I found it to be very well executed. It wasnt in my Bingo cards to call GM one of the leaders in interior execution of EVs

What’s sad is this vehicle will not get the appreciation it deserves because it is not a redesigned Model Y or Mach E. People just love to count *gm* out and when they rise to the occasion it becomes a nitpicking opportunity to find faults. I just would like to say BRAVO Chevrolet and *gm* on all things Ultium. This, like the rest of the lineup, looks true to its concept that was revealed over a year ago. They managed to make the Blazer EV a nicer more upscale vehicle than Model Y, Mach E, and Acura ZDX while undercutting them in price. Design inside and out is a real head turner, I’m just proud to see *gm* taking their EVs so seriously. For this to be their first generation and attempt, it’s quite obvious they have a very promising future ahead! Thanks for the post, guys.

@@G-Rated- lol you’re all over this comment section just sticking up for GM; you’ve got people bagging on GM quality likely because they’ve been burned by it at some point. No big deal, they’ve got issues- and folks like to point that out. I’ve had GM vehicles that I’ve absolutely loved, but wouldn’t pretend they were perfect and sugarcoat all the issues. If we’re all being honest- late model vehicles from MANY automakers have considerably more issues today than even ten years ago… Lots of it seems to relate to cheap electronics, and so-so software. Tesla is a major offender here as well… I’m not defending any automaker today- they’re all using shit components it seems.

I was driving my dad's most of the week. (RS AWD) Pretty nice for sure. Had issues with adaptive cruise in the rain. Ride is quite firm I thought. 360 Camera is nicer in my Hyundai. No other issues. Power in sport mode is plenty for sure. The map/nav and screen is great. One key thing is if you are a large or tall person this is way better than other under $60k EVs. The seat is wide and leg room is good for my 6'4" brother. Used a Circle K fast charger with no issues.

I too like(d) this EV fro the start - the coming? SS trim. Did you know that GM put a stop sale on the Blazer EV due to a multitude of apparent SW glitches. So, maybe no.

The platform is interesting but I find this too expensive and too big for relatively limited cargo space for the size, and I find the interior styling very unappealing. Something this size should have 30+ ft3 behind the 2nd row and 70+ total cargo space. The Blazer EV is as wide as my ‘22 Passport and a few inches longer. It also rides too low to their ground for my tastes for what I expect from the Blazer name. I’m reading only 7.4” of ground clearance.

Great looking vehicle, but there’s already a stop sale due to major software issues. It seems like outside of the C8, Escalade, and GMC full size trucks and SUVs, GM can’t deliver a quality product

Your comment doesn’t even make sense. What do you mean already? The quicker they catch glitches the quicker they’ll be fixed. None of the vehicles from *gm* you just mentioned are EVs or Ultium products therefore they’re unrelated and irrelevant. A “stop sale” to address tech bugs on a brand new model that rests upon a brand new platform accompanied by a brand new and bespoke electrical architecture suddenly means *gm* “can’t produce a quality product” or is *gm* doing what they’re supposed to be doing by addressing bugs on a model that was just released before too many customers are affected? I just love how all of their HATERS are working OT just to paint a negative narrative for *gm* right now. Although I expected lots of hate for them once this vehicle was revealed.

Great review on a great car but…. Ok they don’t have CarPlay But What Does GM give you? You came so close at least playing music but what was the source? Was it your phone on Bluetooth or what? How do you access it? Do you say Hey Google play Taylor Swift? No one so far, not even the salesman I test drove the car with could answer or demonstrate that feature. Google Play store does have Apple Music and Amazon music but I don’t know if the play store in the Blazer has that. Please let us know if you dig a little deeper and figure that out. I will never understand why y’all have higher expectations for *gm* than literally everyone else in the auto industry. This isn’t the only EV that has experienced a production hold in order to address hiccups. Tesla just issued a massive recall and it wasn’t even talked about as much as the Blazer’s stop sale. A suggestion. When you talk in measurements please remember that not everyone uses mph. Some countries use the km system and due to that it would be a good idea to edit in that information. Same with the pricing.
