I have a 2024 Trail Boss. LOVE THE TRUCK!!! Mine is Radiant Red...the first thing I did was change the Colorado badging. This truck comes with everything blacked out...except the badging. I changed mine to black and put the black CHEVROLET lettering on the tailgate. In my opinion it is a game changer as far as the look goes! I can't attest to the leg room in the back seat as I will never sit there, but I'm 6'1 and there is little leg room for anybody when I'm driving. That being said, this also the first vehicle that I have owned that I didn't need the seat all the way back. In fact, the first thing I do when I get into drive a vehicle is to put the seat all the way back. In this truck I actually had to move the seat forward! I took my truck on a 1300 mile trip last month. It performed flawlessly!!!! North to South and back and driving around OKC I averaged 20mpg!!!! My only real gripes about this truck is the fact that the steering wheel isn't telescopic, and the fact that I continually get a message on my infotainment screen that says, "This application requires a subscription." I ain't subscribin' to shit!!!!! LOL!!!

I really like my Colorado Trailboss. Looked for a midsized truck for several years and the Colorado is the only one that showed up on a lot anywhere near me. No Fords and only used Frontiers in all that time. The transmission and engine are mated very nicely. Driving to town gets me over 21mpg and driving back gets me an amazing 26mpg by the on board computer. That is superior to the raised Subaru Outback that I traded in.

I have a 23 Trail Boss, and this concerned me as well because of what a nightmare the GM 5.3 is with cylinder deactivation. If you watch the videos explaining the features of the 2.7, it shows the setup is mechanical instead of hydraulic like the 5.3... It was designed with it instead having it added. I still only have about 10,000 miles so it's too soon to say, but I'm feeling like this engine is the real deal since it was a clean sheet design with turbocharging and all this other stuff considered from the start.

Love your videos Jason, been watching for a few weeks now. Saw one of your earlier videos from last year comparing all of the midsize trucks and how you mentioned you would get a Trail Boss if not for your Gladiator. Yeah I think gm needs to fire whichever engineer that said let's put a single speed transfer case in here. I understand why they did it because it's more expensive to replace a two speed transfer case because most people anymore who buys trucks don't read the owners manual were it specifically tells you you have to drive the truck so many miles in 4hi and 4lo every month, but it's stupid doing that, they should allow the owners to choose what they are planning to use the truck for and able to pick the transfer case in all models except for hd trucks no matter if it's just a Colorado or Silverado wt, lt, custom they should be allowed to choose and they also should be allowed to choose the rear end gear ratio is liked it when we were able to before and the ZR2 should come standard with either the 3.73 or 4.10 gears with a 4 to 1 transfer case standard then they would really be a awesome truck. The hd trucks should come standard with the 3.73 and 4.10 gears like they used to and people were also allowed to choose which one they wanted
