Too much fiddling around with modes in my opinion, where you lose track how different models can handle things in 4wd without too many electronic nannies...also, though he recently starting dabbling in this (not very successfully so far, imho), is lack of impressions how different vehicles simply feel, when driving on washboard, how the suspension takes it and so on....little bit of the Test Driven Tv

LMAO! Wow! I appreciate the ppl that take the time to put out this kind of content. The angles, the scene cuts, whew! Kudos! I’m in the market for a ‘24 Z71 (my 1st truck ever) now and I think this was the last bit of convincing I need.

$46K for a Z71 Colorado IS a lot of money for the truck regardless of competition. No matter how many times manufactures try to push this narrative of the new normal $50K average sale price, it's a rip off. That said, I like your videos and you do a great job. And props for the Fiero art shirt.

Seems like all the car prices are a rip off these days, yet car sales are strong as ever, not really any worse than pre covid. At least in America

@@kevinstarski1598 Sales are down to consumers and continuing downward with some companies having 500 day or more supplies and dealers declining allocations. Auto manufacturers count a sale as one to a dealer and not to the consumer. As such, the major decline hasn’t fully hit yet because manufacturers are hiding it in their dealer allocations. This has lead to some massive discounts we’re seeing on certain models. If sales were strong, those discounts wouldn’t be necessary and dealers wouldn’t be having to decline delivery. Additionally, we have the highest rate of repos in years and trending upwards. There are some markets that are almost always insulated due to the wealth in the area, but as a whole sell through to the consumer is down. That said: there will always be a contingent of fiscally irresponsible or unaware consumers who will purchase regardless of consequences.

I just watched your review of the 2024 Chevy Colorado Z71. Great video. Last week I bought the same model and color, but with more tech options. This is the best truck I've ever owned. It was a bit pricey, but it should be my last vehicle I purchased. I'd love to test my truck out on your test track. I'm local, Tacoma/Puyallup area.

Had the Colorado Z71/Canyon AT4 on my list so glad you tested this one. The GM auto locker diff isn’t my favorite either. Also considering a Ranger XLT FX4 , Frontier Pro4X, and maybe a Tacoma TRD Off Road. I still need to sit in a Tacoma to see if the position works for me. Plus the Tacoma pricing is a little higher than I’d like. Really scared to see what a 4Runner TRD Off Road will cost YIKES!!

Nice review! i wonder how many vehicles have delayed-then-abrupt autolockers causing the problems at 19:00. Do the gradual engagement systems work better? Also might be good to mention when a test trail's 4x4 class only, given the national park service's new policy of fining/imprisioning AWD drivers attempting those types of trails.

I really love the look of this little pickup. It has all the features I want too. I want a nice daily driver with the ability to go off road in case the stuff ever hits the fan. Also, you can tow a good amount with this little guy. But I do not know if I trust the long-term reliability of Chevy/GM. Any thoughts on reliability?
@adamb3129
@adamb3129 4 ай бұрын
The 2.7 has been reliable in the Silverados from what I hear. Seems like these Colorados came out with software issues that have since been mostly fixed through updates. Of course long term reliability is still unproven but it’s competition like the Tacoma and Ranger aren’t any better imo.

Is that a Fiero on your shirt? LOL. I bet that little truck with some good 33''-34'' MT tires would do a lot better on that course. A lot of different companies make a skid plate for that hitch. You can just grind it over anything. I have one on my Jeep with the tow package, and it's really saved the hitch on multiple occasions.
