Manufacturers seem to follow industry trends when it comes to wheels. All the new cars have a mild variation of this ‘machined and black’ look. I think it looks pedestrian , almost Honda-ish.

I haven't gone to an auto show in a while . I and now I remember why . I pay for tickets and parking and almost half the size of the old shows , no real concepts. Just some small amount of vehicles . When Subaru is the top display that says something.

Was the smallest auto show I've ever seen in Chicago. Used to be 2 levels both north and south halls. This can't be the largest show anymore.

Yeah it really has fallen a long way compared to what it once was. I have been going since 2005 and if you really wanted to see everything at that time, you needed two days.

That wing on that mustang just don’t go there. They tried too hard to make it look better than a Porsche GT3RS which I like better. No way spending $300,000 on a mustang. Nope Update: Lose the spoiler and sell it for $80k max then I’ll consider maybe not

That Mustang will be a total bust. ZR1 will be half price and beat it as well as look infinitely better. The only redeeming quality of that Stang is that it will still take out pedestrians

What a fricking joke of the “Largest North American Auto Show”! One could have removed the emblems from every SUV there, tossed them into a big hat and even the most die-hard, brand specific enthusiast couldn’t have placed them on the correct vehicle. Completely generic , overpriced junk sprinkled with just enough unsellable EVs to warm the hearts of traditional auto enthusiasts. I wouldn’t be surprised if the McCormick Place underwriters insisted on the removal of the main battery packs of all those EVs under one roof. On the other hand, it could have been one of the most spectacular events ever if this show was on the lower floors and the Tobacco Plus Expo was occupying the upper floors. Could have been given a catchy new spectacularama name: The 1st Ever Runaway Thermal Event Smokeout and Vaping Festival.
