This is all new to me, thinking about doing some trapping this year, what does rubbed out mean? I'm assuming all the fur is rubbed off, but does that happen from spinning around in the trap?

Basically as the year progresses coyotes and other fur bearing animals will damage their guard hairs from going under fences, through brush, crawling in dens ect. Coyotes typically will have that in the middle of their back and sometimes on their hind legs from laying in the snow and pulling hair out when their hair freezes to it.
